Is A Capital Letter Needed For Every Word In The Description?

    • This is the not the way

    • This cannot be unseen…

      • +1

It's like having Christopher Walken is reading it; capitals on every word for me is like every word is enunciated

I paid $170 delivered from Amazon when it was released months ago

I wonder if i can wear this to work. No one will mess with me

    • +5

Just explain to them how seriously you take mask mandates.

      • In my line of work, I do. But the people I meet are often surprised at it. One can simply be never too careful

  • It's definitely better than wearing a mask!!!

Does the range finder work? Im thinking the time I say "FORE!" will be cut down somewhat if it does work.

  • Will moon to $10000 in 30 years # investment

    Product Review
    https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/zavvi

    • Been using Zavvi for a decade. Never had a problem with them.

      • Not according to recent purchases.
Best for people to decide from recent reviews.

        • +1

Who uses product review for anything serious? It is literally a place people go to bitch and give businesses 1 star.

Or shill 5 stars for a business because they were paid to do so.

          • @SirFlibbled: Obviously people are finding it useful.

It doesn't change the fact that Zavvi is horrible based on all the recent reviews.
If you look at the past OzBargain deals posted, people still have not received their products and in is consistent with the reviews being posted on Product Review.

Maybe you were the lucky few who has not received any issues thus far.

            • @Qwerty99: Yep 'lucky' with dozens of purchases over a decade. Sounds like I have very consistent luck.

However, what has changed has been supply chains have slowed significantly in the last few months with COVID and particularly omicron. It took over 2.5 months to receive a TShirt from the US. 3 months for an item from China. I even just received something from the UK which took over a month to arrive (rather than the 10 days or so pre-covid).

And no one finds product review useful. Almost every review is just someone bitching (or astroturfing). I couldn't think of a worst place to rely on.

              • @SirFlibbled: Non Zavvi purchases doesn't help justify using Zavvi.

Fact is, Zavvi can't deliver on time or delivery the product at all.
It has been evident in the last 6 months.

                • @Qwerty99: No but it shows the problem isn't isolated to Zavvi but a worldwide problem.

                  • @SirFlibbled: Not every business had that issue.

For people who have not heard of Zavvi, they need to know what type of business they are and whether is worth sending money overseas.

                    They need to accept that:
                    - goods may not arrive even with tracking number
                    - refund may not happen

                    • @Qwerty99: Every business has had those issues. If they didn't, they were the lucky ones.

I buy almost everything online. Everything was delayed for months. I had to buy my cat food 2 weeks earlier than normal from Amazon because of delays and wanted to make sure my cats had food. If Amazon wasn't able to make things go faster, what chance does anyone else have?

The litter I bought from from Petcircle was ordered after Xmas and came early Feb - from Brisbane. I had to go to Petbarn and pay ridiculous money for subpar litter until it turned up it took that long.

I sent a package to my parents back in August, Canberra to Sydney and it took 3 weeks.

But sure, blame it on Zavvi.

Refunds issues is the only reasonable complaint.

                      • @SirFlibbled: In your experience you received delays, but in my experience with Pet Circle and Amazon everything was on time within the specified time frame.

For Zavvi, there is clearly continuous cases of items not being delivered for Zavvi.
Otherwise there would be no new complaints right?

                        • @Qwerty99: And yet I'm not here bitching about Petcircle and Amazon and warning people. The point is POSTAGE HAS BEEN BALLS FOR MONTHS.

                          International postage more so.

                          • @SirFlibbled: Pet Circle and Amazon is:
                            - delayed and delivered
                            - delivered on time
                            - refundable

                            Zavvi is:
                            - delayed and not delivered
                            - non refundable

Most recent complaints seem to be about shipping during the times that Auspost completely imploded and nothing was moving at all, and people not realising they're a UK company. Really, if there was a thread on here from someone complaining they ordered something from the UK in November and it didn't make it for Christmas, we'd all be laughing at them. A lot seem to be someone stole/lost their order somewhere along the line, not an issue with Zavvi themselves. I feel for the people who got the wrong thing and their returns system being a nightmare though.

No one uses product review except to write complaints. Example - https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/amazon
