Can confirm it works for monthly plan and is provided instantly.

    • I getting thrown off by

"You must not have been a Prime member 30 days prior to February 21, 2022 to be eligible."

      Did you met this requirement?

      • Yes, my alt account which had prime >30 days before then, worked fine but had to pay $6.99 to reactivate the prime.

  • Does it work for prime free trial?

    • +2

      Yes

      • So create a new account and just activate a prime free trial and get $20 credit?

        • I did that and get nothing

    • +1

Does it take time, I did not get anything yet?

      • Mine was instant, bought $20 worth of gum for free and then cancelled prime trial

  • +3

    Everyone here has prime already

    • +3

      And tons of email addresses

    • +5

didnt you rort enough from the tiktok free $30 amazon credit

        • Ngl most people in society are bought out incredibly easily like this, you're just not ashamed to admit it

          • -3

@decc0: NGL but i see a bit of jelousy here in your failure to obtain freebies

            • +2

@easternculture: Not jealousy, people all the time fake things for their benefit (ie I just faked I had a pet in a survey for $10 Catch credit). Just a bit sad how you and others in society will befriend "evil" companies for a buck

              • @decc0: Its not a buck, its thousands of dollars lol

                • @easternculture: I guess that is why your entire family have concession cards. People like you on Centrelink need the money I guess…

                  • -4

@kanglq: Nah we also do cash jobs on the side ya know construction, import/export etc … cash is king
We drive nice cars, own our homes and live on beach front housing comission.
                    Yalla habeebi

                    Lol

                    • +1

                      @easternculture:

                      Yalla habeebi

LOL! Username almost checks out… just missing the mid at the beginning. ;-)

  • +1

    thank you, worked :)

  • I assume I can just make a new account, get the Prime free trial via UNiDAYS and get a free $20 credit on that account, right?

    • need a student email.

  • +2

Do I need to be a student for enrolling unidays?

  • Wish this was for NZ too.

    • +1

There is a way I believe.. VPN into an Australian IP to get access to Unidays Aus. Grab the link from this deal for Amazon AU from the clickthrough.

Setup an account with a free prime trial using an Aus address and link it to this new account from the link above.

Should then be able to apply the promotional credit to an NZ order. The promo credit applies for NZ orders.

      • +1

Cheers for the comment doweyy. I'll give it a go tonight when I have a bit more free time on my hands.

  • thank you. promo credit $20 yay!

  • assume this is unique link for each uniday account?

  • "Our records indicate your no longer eligible for a free trial" 😡

    • Is that after you add your card details?

      • yep

    • I had the exact same issue! I've NEVER had Prime before so that's pretty annoying.
Then again … an echo show 5 with the $20 student discount made it a total of $15 + the $6.99 monthly fee.
I'll give it a go for a month or so and see how it goes.

  • +3

Oh my unidays still works…email forward from disabled student email still works lol

  • +3

You can stack this up with the $35 Echo Show 5 deal.

  • +1

So you have to be a student for this to work?

  • If you don’t want to buy goods , you can use the credit to buy e-gift card.

    • I tried this for a $20 e-gft card but the credit didn't appear. Tips?

      • What were you trying to buy? I bought a $20 apple e-gift card. On the payment page, make sure you tick the box that says "use promotional credit for this purchase".

Final page should show up as $0 as final payment.

Because it is a first time purchase on the new account, the gift card will take 4 hours to arrive.

        • I was trying to buy an amazon gift card to use the credit for non-amazon products.
That sounds promising though. Thank you

          • @gorney: I tried buying and using the credit for the Amazon e gift card and they’re smart! Can’t use the promo towards the order :(

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: Ended up buying an Uber Eats voucher which isn't a bad deal

  • Hmm I haven't got anything yet, even after checking the "gift card" section under "your account"

    • +3

Find a product shipped and sold by Amazon and you can see there’s a $20 promotional credit applied :)

    • same here :/

    • Ditto.

  • +3

activated free trial, got credit but only shows in checkout if sold by amazon au

  • Just be mindful the offer is only for the first 15,000 redemptions.

  • +1

Worked for me on free trial on alt account. Thanks OP

  • +1

Amazon is offering a $20 shopping credit if you sign up to Prime via Unidays.

Will it still work if you sign up for one month of Amazon Prime, and then cancel the subscription before 30 days?

    • +1

      Yes, works with trial too.

  • No credit for me - tried to checkout with a product sold by Amazon AU but no discount…

  • It worked for me at 11pm 01/03.
I just joined prime monthly, and could use $20 credit instantly.

  • Yet still no amazon prime student (reduced) membership…

  • -1

anyone have a spare link? Pm me

    • You need to be logged into a valid UNiDAYS account for the link to work.

      • My UK friend gave me their unidays account and it still works with a fresh or inactive Amazon account

    • It is not easy for laymen to obtain a direct link for this promo, and it is limited to only 1 activation per 24 hrs. So those who can obtain a link will probably be able to use it themselves.

  • Signed up to prime but no credit.. nothing under the gift cards and balances anyway

    • Seems to be a recurring issue now, jump on live chat and explain the situation with the promo link and they will manually credit you $20 into your account.

      • +2

Oh oops silly me, I was trying to buy something from amazon US, added something from amazon AU and credit showed. Thanks anyway doweyy

    • Just for anyone else in the same situation, promo credits are different to gift card balances and there isn't currently any easy way (I guess you could ask on live chat) to see your balance apart from at checkout if its valid and is deducted from the total.

  • I received the $20 credit immediately after sign up.

Also, I received the following offer after signing up to Amazon Prime (free trial):

Thank you for signing up to Amazon Prime. A credit has been applied to your account, entitling you to purchase an Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) For $35 (RRP $119)

To redeem the offer, add one (1) Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) to your cart. At checkout, the price of the item will be automatically reduced to $35.

Did anyone else also receive a similar offer?

I could buy the Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) for just $15 with both offers combined.

  • $20 student credit
$10 credit for installing and signing in to the app after getting an email
$10 credit using the app and entering code MAX10

$40 in credits, albeit some with minimum spend requirements. I did use the latter two credits one after the other just in case.

    • $10 credit for installing and signing in to the app after getting an email
$10 credit using the app and entering code MAX10

I assume these two credits are targeted to your account only?

      • +1

No, they are for new accounts that haven't placed an order.

The latter (with code MAX10) is for first time purchase via app.

    • strange, I registered new account but didn't receive any email for bonus of installing and using app

      • Seems only $20+$10 now. You can combine them for $39-30, not too bad.

      • I haven't received an email about it but on the Prime page I've got this

The MAX10 page says "Sorry, you are not eligible for this offer." though so I don't know if I'm actually eligible for the first one either. (Actually, not sure if this page is for MAX10 as mentions $10 discount being automatically applied to cart over $39.)

        • The page you linked to is not for the MAX10 deal. It is for using the app for the first time.

          • @DoctorCalculon: Yeh, was just the terms listed for the MAX10 deal

            • @bamzero: The T&Cs look very similar. With the first one the $10 credit is applied automatically, and you have to activate the reward within 30 days (if you are eligible).

        • They are 2 different promos which can be used one after another.

If you are eligible for the MAX10 promo, you can use it with the $20 promo for a $39-30 order. As this order is more than $39, you will activate the 2nd promo, which entitles you to another $39-10 discount.

Alternatively, if you choose to do a $20-20 as your first order, you won't be able to spend the 2* ($39-10) promotions.

  • I can't sign up for a free Prime membership, or even a paid one. Anyone else getting this problem?

  • The T&C linked in the original post says "This Offer ends at 11:59 PM AEST on June 30, 2022 or when 15,000 redemptions of the Offer have been made". Does it mean it's not expiring tomorrow(April 30)?

    • It looks like they will keep extending the end date until 15000 have been redeemed.
