The second best value JW after green when they are all at their normal prices. At the discount you will get definitely worth it.

What do you want to know? Is it any good? All I can say is if you're a JW fan then you'll probably like this. I am not a JW fan at all so I can't give you an impartial assessment.

The Jameson's Caskmates Stout Edition, however, is an absolute ripper, and at this price it's definitely worth getting. I don't have First Choice here in TAS (Boo!!) so I don't think I'll even be able to convince Dan to pricematch, so I miss out.

    • Done, I hope this helps.

  • $54.95 at DM for Online Members.

Feck Dan Murphys and their BS pricing model.

Offer a 5c discount on a genuine special offered by another retailer just to strip the business. Five bloody cents. Whoopee!

Anyone else notice they often keep the price as normal in stores so unless you check on line you won't get the discount, even if you present your member card?

And you don't earn Woolworths rewards points either - you just go into the monthly member's draw for a spotted unicorn while they harvest your spending details for absolutely nothing.

      Like I said.

      Feck Dan Murphy's.

  • I tried the Caskmates IPA and got zero IPA notes from it. Was drinking highballs and sours tbf.

Might give the stout a go - should get a lot more from a stout than an IPA

The IPA one is gross - the stout is delicious straight up.

Thanks OP - someone else commented that there was potentially free delivery available too using FREEDEL50, but this doesn't look to be listed on CR so went for a C&C just in case.

  • The Jameson is grain whiskey, right?

    • +1

Jameson is produced from a blend of grain whiskey and single pot still whiskey, which uses a mixture of malted and unmalted or "green" Irish barley, all sourced from within a fifty-mile radius around the distillery in Cork. The barley is dried in a closed kiln fired by natural gas (formerly anthracite coal).

  • Nice deal! The 25% ($25 cap) current cash rewards offer expires midnight, tonight. free delivery on orders over $150 atm.

Thanks OP. Good deal. My dad loves standard Jameson so got him a bottle of this for Christmas (yeah shopping early).

    • Only 10 months to go!

  • Anyone compared the stout edition to the black barrel?

There's Jameson Triple Triple which I can only rarely find in Australia that is once of the best mixing whiskies that I've had.
Got a great deal last time I came back from NZ in their duty free - 4 1L bottles for about $140 AUD.

Yeah that one goes great with Ginger Ale. I think i got them from Boozebud once so maybe keep an eye on them

Thanks for this post, I knew the 2000 points and Cashback was a good deal but too lazy to look and do the calculations :)
I’ve had the whiskey before, pretty good for the price

  • Bought

  • Anyone know how many times I can claim this? Hoping to get 6 bottles in separate transactions but unsure if cashrewards would allow me

    • $25 limit on cash rewards per account.
2000 FB point limit per account

So you'd need multiple accounts to buy multiple bottles.

Ah, thanks. I'll grab one to try then, too much of a hassle otherwise.

  • Caskmates Stout Whiskey OOS in Werribee, just got a "substitute or cancel" text.

  • great deal!!!

This is a great whiskey… But

Pretty sure Stouts and IPA's are made in stainless steel tanks …so the whole aged in casks thing… hmmm..
