Nudie Jeans Sale - $110 Delivered

330

Thought this was a pretty good deal considering Nudie's in Australia cost around $300 - somewhat limited range but has most of the popular styles.

My one gripe is that it's a UK site but they don't take the VAT off! Otherwise excellent value.

  • I wonder how these will look with monster beats and ed hardy shirts/thongs, im thinking perfect match!

    • and boat shoes

    • +7

Nudie jeans with an Ed Hardy shirt? I think you just created a mash up of a hipster and a guido…

Oh damn, and boat shoes as well? So that adds preppy into the mix too!

    • +1

Do those have some kind of association with nudie jeans that I am unaware of?

      • Sort of a quintessential hipster look.

Which I still don't understand because the cheap plastic around monster beats headphones looks neither vintage nor like it was made from quality materials.
I thought the ‘hipster’ thing was all about wearing shit that was ‘cool before you were born’ or using unconventional but well-considered textiles.

I don't get it but beats are none of these things.

        • +12

I've never seen a hipster wear an Ed Hardy shirt nor Beats.

    • +2

      I don't know whether you're being sarcastic or not…

      • Thats a big Yes, almost a 10 year old fad.

        • Whoops… gonna take off my neg now. (jokes)

    • +38

Whether or not they're expensive has nothing to do with it. RRP in Australia is around $300 so to get them for $110 is a bargain. Your argument is like saying $100k for a $500k house is not a bargain just because $100k is a lot of money…

      • +3

I think the argument is more along the lines of $100k house for a $500k house in the city is not a bargain because you can buy a house somewhere else in crap land for $100K… Just saying =P

    • +13

its the same as 10% off mac sales at stores here - sure its still overpriced, but its still a saving and worth posting

    • +1

Let me guess, you're in your mid-40's and have totally given up on style/fashion and just generally looking good. You probably still think Levi's 501's are cool. You are probably content with letting your wife buy all your clothes (which all cost $10 or less from Rivers).

While we all love a bargain, it doesn't mean we all have to be tightarses. As a general rule, if you want to look good you need to be willing to spend money. Girls are not attracted to guys who buy their clothes from Kmart or Target, believe me! Yes, Nudie is an expensive brand, just like G-Star, etc. But that's just the way it is. Thanks OP for posting the deal, I don't own a pair of Nudies because I have never been able to justify spending $300 on jeans, but at this price I will definitely buy a pair or two.

      • woah. 501s are cool.

      • -2

lol there's nothing wrong with 501s.
        I wouldn't buy these, they're all washed.

  • +3

Is it for the brand name or is the quality so good that it is for $300? Seems to me that the brand name is usually hidden near the butt anyway?

    I am genuinely curious =/?

    • +4

I like the quality but particularly the cut. They just fit well and look good.

    • +6

According to the site they are worth the price because…."The product is not only a pair of jeans. It’s part of a way of thinking, a concept and a consistent passion"

Surely that makes them great value!

    • +4

I have few jeans. Yes the quality is good, allows 'breathing', doesn't change shape easily after a lot of washings and model-wise, it looks good.
For me, Nudie RRP is over-price. But i'm willing to pay for $200 for it. So, $110 is a good bargain.

  • Nudie jeans always go on sale at David Jones and other retailers quite often. While it is cheap, its not extraordinarly cheap that would justify buying it if you can wait for an actual sale.

    • +2

yeah I got a pair of nudies at david jones for $85 on sale around christmas time. great jeans they are made in italy and use high quality denim. $110 delivered is still on okay price.

      • +3

i'd prefer to pay $119 for made in japan edwin jeans :)

I'd prefer to pay $110 for made in italy nudie jeans :)

        • I usually wear Ksubi, but my Edwin Jeans are by far the most comfortable and well made pair of jeans I own.

        • +2

Im not sure if the quality for male ksubi jeans are different but my 2 ksubi jeans fell apart (well I found it unacceptable that they had started to deteriorate so soon) before the first wash. Terrible quality. I buy nudies now. Much nicer denim, cut and fit.

        • @s_agno3: I've only worn two of them regularly for about 1 year and a bit. The tees I've got from ksubi seem a bit like tissue paper, so I can see them breaking quite soon. So far the jeans are holding quite well, but you could be right. Time will tell.

        • The Edwin jeans seems to be $169.00 instead of $119 thou.

  • +17

This is a great price. Sure they go on sale here in Aus, but usually about around the 175 mark. As for those that can't believe that jeans cost that much, cool, Big W has some 10 dollar ones.

    • +6

Couldn't have said it better myself

  • +5

I like the quality of Nudie jeans but find you need the legs of a 10 year old kid to fit into them. Do they make a cut for people without little girly legs?

    • +2

they have elastic in most of their jeans, the thinn finn is somewhere between skinny and slim otherwise grim tim is a good cut, bit looser.

  • I bought a high kai pair in 2008 for $220. Still wearing it up till today. They last really well, have around 6 pairs.

  • +8

Getting a strong vibe of the "Emperor's New Clothes" here.

  • +1

There is some pretty good prices on this site. Has anyone purchased from them before?

  • Nudies are about $150 on Asos, so this is definitely a bargain. Only problem is you might struggle with some of the sizing in this deal, this seems to be a bit of a clear out of stock type sale.

  • Good price for a great pair of jeans!
I bought my first nudie jeans around 6 months ago and I cant get enough of them, the fit and style are amazing, well worth the $200 I paid for them. So for $110 they're a steal, just ordered myself a new pair in different colour/style!

  • I brought a pair back in 2002 and they still are really good! $230 I paid back then.. in retail store!

  • +1

i wouldnt put nudie jeans in the same classification as Ed Hardy,
David Jones do occasional sales on Nudie, but unless you're a size 38+ its not going to be of much value.

Ive got 3 pairs of nudie jeans, and @ $110 you cannot do better for the price..

  • Which of these is equivalent to a straight cut? I'm really keen to get one but not sure which type to get.

  • no long johns :(

  • ummm.. no size 30 or 32 for thin fin, no deal for me heh…

  • +1

***RE-STOCKED sizes!!! on the website and available now.

    • +2

Damn you. Just bought another pair of Thin Finns.

P.S - How about a VAT refund for those of us ordering from Australia ;) Then you'll truly be embraced by us Ozbargainers :)

    • +1

Hi Rep, I was wondering if it was possible to get the VAT we paid back? Other sites usually remove VAT once a non euro country is selected.

    • +2

If the VAT gets dropped, I'll definitely be buying two or three pairs of jeans and would come back to the site regularly :)

      • +1

I have no idea why someone negged you for that. +ve to balance.

        • +1

I thought someone had, Thanks muchly :)

  • hmm hardly any 32 regulars

  • +1

Levi's 511 is the best bargain. Fits perfectly. Why paid more for nudie!

    • yeah 511 are good if you get them online. here in australia they charge $120+ for them, ludicrous price for Levi's. Online they are less than $60 each, nice cut too.

      • where'd you find 511s for that price?

Asos is generally $120+ and I don't see them on OP's site - what other grand resource am I missing out on?!

  • If you're a size 30R and don't mind baggy jeans you can get Nudie Fast Freddy's for $48 with $30 delivery charge. Which doesn't increase with the more you order so why not buy 3 pairs for $174 delivered.

    http://www.fruugoaustralia.com/nudie-jeans-fast-freddy-baggy…

    • The prices on this fruugo site look almost to good to be true. Have you used it?

      • Scrap that question, it has links direct to the sites so you can just order from there. So great site to search multiple sites round EU

  • Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone know where to get cheap Sass & Bide jeans online?

  • How is the sizing?

The last 3 pairs of jeans I bought online didn't fit quite right and I basically wasted my money because I never wear them.

Many brands, Ksubi in particular, differ in size - even 32's and different from other 32's.

i.e. are they the same ones sold at DJs?
