    What's the go-to instant coffee these days? Last I heard, Moccona had apparently changed their formula. Thinking of grabbing the espresso.

      Espresso is a banger.

      Robert timms prepacked single coffee bags is my usual go to when on sale. The green labelled one. Double bag brew gets me through the morning.

        +1 for the Robert Timms although you do need to steep them for 4-5 minutes so you can end up with a luke warm coffee if you like milk so I usually warm the cup by filling it a couple times with boiling water before I start. But you can pick up packs under 1/2 price when on sale.

      The Moccona formula change was about four years ago, from memory. I recommend Aldi's "Alcafé Classic Gold" ($3.69/100g) or Coles' "Organic Freeze Dried Coffee" ($4/100g). They are in the style of Moccona No 5 but I prefer them; no need to wait for sales either. Aldi also has a dark roast version, for those who prefer a stronger taste.
