    Thanks ,bought all 3 varieties.

  • No Decaf :(

    • I thought decaf only came in 100g size from Maccona and Nescafe

    • Same - been waiting for decaf in Amazon, but it's harder to come by. Just bought mine from Coles as it's still discounted.

    • Can't you just use like 30% of normal coffee and get the same result?

triple tablespoon espresso variant, topped with boiling hot water is my go to hah.

    • Black? I find it really bitter.

      • +4

I dont think it to enjoy it - I drink it to suffer - so you know when the good times are.

  • What's the go-to instant coffee these days? Last I heard, Moccona had apparently changed their formula. Thinking of grabbing the espresso.

      Espresso is a banger.

Robert timms prepacked single coffee bags is my usual go to when on sale. The green labelled one. Double bag brew gets me through the morning.

      • +2

+1 for the Robert Timms although you do need to steep them for 4-5 minutes so you can end up with a luke warm coffee if you like milk so I usually warm the cup by filling it a couple times with boiling water before I start. But you can pick up packs under 1/2 price when on sale.

I steep with half cup then re top with hot water to get a tall mug.

    • The French Style is actually pretty good.

The Moccona formula change was about four years ago, from memory. I recommend Aldi's "Alcafé Classic Gold" ($3.69/100g) or Coles' "Organic Freeze Dried Coffee" ($4/100g). They are in the style of Moccona No 5 but I prefer them; no need to wait for sales either. Aldi also has a dark roast version, for those who prefer a stronger taste.

  • Clasic #5 is unavailable

    • Classic #5 became unavailable a few years ago. Kanye West #5 is out of stock now

  • Oos

  • S&S is $14.4 when 400g is on sale?

    • right now this 200g deal is cheaper - S&S at $7.01

      • level 10 or 3, tough one

        • 10 for me, no brainer hahaha

  • Is this matching cooles or wolworths?

    • I would also like to know - there is a comment above that seems to indicate Coles.

  • Thanks OP, snapped 2.

  • Espresso is OOS

  • I add some to pod coffee to improve the taste
