Similar to this keyboard but $10 cheaper as it doesn't use low profile switches and normally costs $69.95.

  • It can only be hotswapped with other Outemu switches, not just any switch (eg. not any Gat Reds or Inks etc.).

My brother however tried putting in Feker Holy Pandas into his Outemu board and they worked. YMMV.

      Thanks updated.

    • I think i've seen that you can put the Akko switches in it too. Might be wrong though

  • Akko switches work without any problem.

You can still use Gateron, but be prepared to spend a lot of time trying to fit them in. I broke couple of LEDs doing that, so don't recommend.

  • I've been looking around for a budget friendly mechanical keyboard (blue switches) - curious, is this keyboard one of the best budget ones out there?

    • +1

      yep, especially at this price

I guess you can't go wrong at this price, but there have been reports on previous threads of occasional switch failures on Tecware keyboards, YMMV?

If I liked blue switches I'd try to get one of the few remaining Fnatic Rush Cherry MX Blues on eBay for $96 (a rebadged Func 460 - I have the red version, no issues after 6 years) - though obviously not very budget haha.

      • Thanks guys - will give it a go - just ordered one :)

  • Typing this on a low profile Tecware L TKL Red Switch. Lovely keyboard. Just noticed now that they are just under 50 on this site. Getting another one now

  • Bought the low profile browns in the other deal and actually super impressed with the build quality for $50. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for blue switches, $39.95 for this feels like a pretty good buy.
