PRODUCT DETAILS
An exceptional listening experience that’s tailored just for you. The WF-1000XM4 truly wireless headphones take industry-leading noise cancelling1 and audio quality to the next level.

Integrated Processor V1
Specially developed by Sony, the Integrated Processor V1 takes the noise cancelling performance of their acclaimed QN1e chip and goes even further. Improved noise cancelling performance and Bluetooth technology delivers the industry’s highest level of noise cancelling yet uses less power.

Exceptional sound quality
The WF-1000XM4 supports High-Resolution Audio Wireless.2 Specially designed 6mm drivers reproduce a dynamic sound despite their small size, and the high compliance diaphragm reproduces a rich bass range. The Integrated Processor V1 also enhances sound quality and reduces distortion and enables LDAC codec processing and DSEE Extreme.

Smart listening experience
As soon as you speak to someone, Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses the music and lets in ambient sound so you can conduct a conversation3. And once your chat is over, your music starts playing again automatically.4

Adaptive Sound Control automatically adjusts to your situation
Adaptive Sound Control is a smart function that senses where you are and what you’re doing, then adjusts ambient sound settings for the ideal listening experience.

Superior call quality
Precise Voice Pickup Technology uses beamforming microphones and a bone-conduction sensor to allow the WF-1000XM4 headphones to pick up your voice clearly and accurately for hands-free calls.

Water resistant for everyday use
With an IPX4 water resistance rating5, splashes and sweat won’t stop these headphones.

Listen all day, charge in minutes
You can enjoy a full working day of charge, with 8 hours from your headphones and store another 16 hours in the case. That means a full 24 hours of listening time.6

Easy wireless charging with Qi technology
No cables necessary, the WF-1000XM4 feature Qi technology for easy wireless charging.7

Everything’s at your fingertips
The WF-1000XM4 headphones feature intuitive touch control settings and you can assign your own functions to each earbud using the Sony Headphones Connect app.8

  • Beat me to it. Had a camel alert on this and was about to post.

That's an inflated RRP - JB HiFi has the RRP at $389, on-sale for $349, and 3 weeks ago would price match the Bing Lee sale price of $279.

  • How are they compared to Bose 700?

  • +7

I bought these in the last deal. They are great. But if you don't need noise cancelling or fancy options, then look at getting the wf-c500. They have really great sound, are smaller than the wf-1000xm4, and the silicone tips are more comfy than the foam tips - all for $97. You can save yourself a couple of hundred.

Awesome tip from someone who’s obviously used both - you’ve sold me on the cheaper ones

    • Hi ifreddo, thanks for the tip. Also, how did you find in regards to the call quality on the WF-C500 vs the XM4 ?

      • +1

For the odd call, they're both just okay. I wouldn't get either of these if you make a lot of calls. With the wfc500 ppl have told me they hear a lot of background noise. Haven't had those complaints with the xm4 though, but I wear the c500 more often.

  • Not comfortable for me

Thanks, I ordered from ow with price beat $298.30

    • Hope you remembered cashrewards

        OW got cash rewards?

Does anyone know if Amazon will allow return of these once opened? My ears are super weirdly shaped and only very select earphones will stay in my ears.

    • I have the same problem. that's why I bought Bose quiet comfort. they bulky but very comfortable and stay in ear.

      • +1

I ask Amazon support and they said you can return within 30 days

        • Thanks for letting me know, that's really helpful information. because of not able to return in case of bad fitting, I have not bought any earbud that don't have wings like Bose eartips.

I price matched another Sony product at Sony on the weekend and they offered a further $30 discount for signing up to their newsletter. I was already signed up, emailed them that's it was done and discount applied successfully. YMMV

  • last time was $271 at bing lee.
