Is this available to eBay plus members only? code results in an error for me

  • This or qcy T13 / T17 ?

    • +1

      https://www.scarbir.com/truewireless
from this review, looks like the QCY in the 5 stars and Redmi in the 4.5 stars

    • +3

I would strongly recommend you to also consider Soundpeats Air 3 if you are okay with the non-in ear category. It's a bit more expensive (it was on a deal though a few weeks back in Amazon) but I find it vastly superior to Redmi and QCY, especially in Zoom calls.

      • Agree, I have them and they're amazing for the price..decent bass too for music

      • Seconded. Great quality for calls and decent bass as Gordzirra mentioned. Alternatively, I've heard good things about QCY T13 - might be worth looking into.

      • Which one do you recommend from the in-ear category? Soundpeats seem to have many models for the in-ear category

      • How are the touch controls on these Soundpeats? Are they prone to false activation?

    • +2

I bought the QCY T13 for $30 from Amazon, it is amazing for the price, sound quality very good, app support, very long battery life, quick charge, usb-c, fit very good, very hard for it to drop from my ear
To sumup compare to nearly 10 other TWS earbud i have used they cost around $40 to $100, the T13 even got the better fit for my ear, the sound quality very very good compare to other earbud i have used. Also today the white Qcy T13 down to $25.24 in Amazon

Is it possible to use just the left or right bud while the other bud charges? With my current set, the left bud has to be in use. If I put it back in the case, the right bud will disconnect.

    • +1

Dunno about those, but the QCY do

    • +1

I have them and, yes, either bud can be used by itself.

Overall they are not bad. The main thing I find irritating about them is that you have to long press in order to play/pause music

      • I hope that manufacturers will make the buttons customisable soon. Play/pause is my most used function and I would have it setup as just a single press.

  • Heard Bluetooth 5.2 has good battery optimisation for audio devices

  • Hopefully they are legit, the pair of Xiaomi earbuds I got off eBay where fake and terrible quality.

    • Without opening the product, would you be able to tell?

      • +1

Not without opening no, but you are entitled to the same return if you open it and can demonstrate its fake.

        • +1

Fair call - didn't think about that.

What was so terrible about the fake ones you received before? Just so others can know what to look out for

          • @jjsu: It was obvious before listening because I have a Xiaomi phone and it recognises other Mi products like my router which it didn't.

The connectivity was very poor, had a lot of trouble both connecting and staying connected.

The sound was very distorted, I couldn't hear different instruments etc. I was able to demonstrate that it was fake with a Reddit post and taking a picture of the R/L symbols.

i would rather use wired one….. I feel shy wearing it lol

    • +1

I've noticed how weird wired headphones look in public already, like a portable disc player.

  • Black: OOS
    White: Avail

    • Both now: OOS

  • Can confirm these are trash

    • thanks, you just saved me $40.

      What do you recommend?

      • -1

        airpod is the best

samsung buz is good for price

JBL and bose are good too

        • +4

On a post for $27 earbuds?

I think you are barking up the wrong tree bloke

          • @nismo: sorry if i made u feel bad 😞

            • @javawoo: No harm done to me 👍

Those brands you mentioned are pretty much all way more expensive than what is in this deal & likely not appealing to anyone looking for bargain buds.

And/ but, you can get great sounding earbuds for $30-50 you just need to know what you are doing (research them).

              • @nismo: I think sound quality could be good. but microphone, so when you use it for calling…. I don't think you can use it for that

      • +1

Soundpeats Sonic - best bang for buck ($59.99 Amazon)

        • They're regularly around the $45 mark with either a coupon or wait for AMR Direct to do another post here. Best to wait, esp since no Cashback atm.

      • Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2

AKG N400 - best sounding wireless earbud out there

  • I just ordered these for my sons birthday $20 - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09KY1D5X1/ref=ppx_yo_d…, they have ANC and someone comments they got Taotronics SoundLiberty 97. Hopefully they are good.

    • +1

Taotronics got banned from amazon for fake reviews, so are now selling them unbranded.

I have had the Taotronics SoundLiberty 97 ones for a month. They are great for phone calls and a decent build quality. Only thing is when playing music they don't have much bass.

    • They have good specs, QC3040 chip provides a great feature set (BT 5.2, aptx adaptive, cVc 8, ANC etc)

They are best used with tiny hands… I could barely grab them out of the case, there's no grip & hardly anything to grab on to..

  • delivered within 24 hours of ordering! first impressions very good - comfortable and ok sound quality for the price.

    • I got mine today and am pretty happy with the initial test. The mic sound is excellent for the price, about 80% of a mic that costs 5x as much. Not bad at all!
