You can only order maximum of 1 Crucial Ballistix 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 Desktop RAM Memory Kit (BL2K16G32C16U4B).

Ozbargain users shouldn't be buying DDR5 RAM or motherboards.

      Why is that?

      • Probably inflated prices and minimal gain over DDR4 make DDR5 poor value

Because we should steal them instead.

I just download more RAM. Thought you guys where doing the same?

        • I know you're joking, but you might be able to rclone a google drive and create a swap memory partition.

    • Well maybe - if you're doing anything that requires a lot of memory bandwidth (eg. rendering or processing with a high number of cores) DDR5 has a huge advantage over DDR4, and the price difference is really quite small compared to the price of the rest of the system required to do these things.

But if you're gaming, then nah - there's not much benefit just yet.

  • Are the Crucial Ballistix better than Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM? The Shopping Express price of the Crucial ones are similar to the price of the Corsair. Just not sure if Crucial is a better brand than Corsair or if it doesn't matter?
