It was this price in January so don’t think it’s an error. Looks like a decent deal anyway

  • Anyone got experience with these?

    • Yeah I do. Got a set nearly 10 years ago. Treat them well and they appear to last in my experience. Very solidly made.

      • We've only had ours for a couple of months and they are better than the rather pricey Circulon set they were replacing. This seems like a good deal!

  • How does it compare to kmart?

    • This is much better.

      Kmart is a department store.
This is a set of cookware.

Don't fall for this RRP scam. It has been $269 3 different times in the last month and the "regular price" is usually $359 - https://pricehipster.com/product/OHjjFST080UBTMXdQ0-X8w~ryZY…

Pots RRP are alway scam. Alway buy at least 50% off

        So it’s a scampan then (boom tish)…

        • He’s here all day folks

      • Same with mattresses

    • Price hipster rocks!

In general, it's not a good idea to buy cookware sets. I said the following on a previous deal and it is equally applicable to this one:

Don't buy large cookware sets. Buy the individual products you need. Getting a large set almost invariably leads to cupboard space being taken up by products that you don't use or are not the most suitable for your cooking needs, outweighing any supposed savings you get from buying them all as a bundle. And there's no reason why all the cookware in the kitchen has to match.

This particular set is a great illustration. You could end up with products that you might not use very often, and you would be committing yourself to using non-stick for everything. To me, the very idea of a non-stick saucepan or a non-stick wok is completely baffling.

In the case of this deal, I wouldn't even describe the "wok" as a wok. It's a medium-sized frying pan with slightly taller sides than usual.

    • They have the individual items on sale as well: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393943272087?hash=item5bb8d94a97…

I bought this saucepan, anyone know if its good? I recently got a portable induction to use and I think I need something thick because the heating comes on and off at lower wattages so I struggle to cook rice (more than I normally do anyway).

    • To me, the very idea of a non-non-stick saucepan or a non-non-stick wok is completely baffling.

        A sticky-wok is a great name though

The large sets are perfect for people who want to cook, and come with the best savings…

      Perfect One-Pot, Six-Pan, 10-Wok, 25-Baking Sheet Dinner

    • I think this is true, I pretty much by Aldi pans now except recently bought a pre seasoned Yosukata wok before Aldi had their wok on sale. Spend the money on some better knives instead, Shun for example.

  • Got this brand before, can't recommend.it Will stick .

  • is this one better or the Padova?

  • Plastic handles? Meh

    • Don’t think it’s plastic, although it looks like it. It is oven safe

      • It's only oven safe to 180c, which means it's not safe under a grill (say for an omelette) - that would be due to the handles.

  • It is a good deal combined with the 20% cashback.
