  • Is this the cheapest price on the 5600X yet? Also is there a list of all the shops with the Klarna discount somewhere?

I guess you're having a bad day, that's OK - I hope your day gets better so you don't act like a scorned person to others in the future.

My day is great, your effort is poor.

@jasswolf: If that's how you act when you're having a good day, well I feel sorry for those around you.

@studentl0an: I humbly apologise for not making you feel warm and fuzzy when you ask 20 questions of others without looking at yourself!

              • +1

@jasswolf: It was 2 questions though.

                  • +3

@jasswolf: What are you on about? Just look up, I only asked 2 questions.

In my post history, which you linked to, you'll find many cases when I answered other peoples questions without acting like a terribly scorned individual as you are here.

I hope you find the love and happiness you deserve in life so that you don't need to bully others to feel better about yourself.

@studentl0an: I hope you learn how to Google and stop being so insular and outright bitter in the face of basic criticism.

                      • +1

@jasswolf: I'm the bitter one? Not you? I really hope you find the love and happiness you deserve man, all the best.

How's things looking up there on your high horse?

What’s it like getting so unironically upset over a comment on ozbargain?

      • It's not your forum, nor your world. If either are, I sincerely apologise. Otherwise;
Try going in at-level next time - empathy is neither weak nor aggressive.
        Up to you.

FYI… Ryzen 5700X 8 core / 65w TDP is coming out at the same price as this to better compete with intels new lineup… this chip will be reduced in price soon after

    • -2

Keep in mind that the 5700X would likely be based on the APU series rather than the CPU lineup, which hampers clocks and performance due to the iGPU and reduced L3 cache. But yes, there should be price drops elsewhere as this series moves into EoL in preparation for Ryzen 7000 at the end of Q3.

I wouldn't recommend the Ryzen 5000 APU for those looking for a gaming boost on their AM4 motherboard, and instead direct them to the 5800/5800X, the 5800X3D, and the 5900X.

      • Keep in mind that the 5700X would likely be based on the APU series rather than the CPU lineup, which hampers clocks and performance due to the iGPU and reduced L3 cache.

        What's your source for that?

A 5700X with integrated graphics and without PCIe 4.0 support doesn't make any sense. Why would they create that kind of confusion in their lineup? I can't see it happening.

    • 5700X RRP is 250 USD~ excluding taxes. I don’t think it’ll be this same price, maybe $350 on deep sale but $400-450 standard price IMO.

      • will that be still on the same socket type as currently?
or will it be using the new one?

        • +1

Same socket type, same architecture. Just AMD are finally releasing some lower end parts to their Ryzen 5000 series because of Intel Alder Lake’s recent release.

  • Deal updated based on Umart increased stock and delivery availability

  • If Umart has this price I see ebay deals going to $270ish soon.

    • Aaaand I pulled the trigger at $280 on ebay.

  • The 12400 is a much better cpu and cheaper and for a little more the 12600k beats the 5800x. Both have gpus.

    • What is "much" better about the 12400? And keeping in mind having to pay more for a B450/550 equiv in LGA1700.

      • Single threaded performnace and integrated Graphics? Also its cheaper, ya a bit more for the mobo, but its time AMD reduced the prices soon un Aus

    • The 12400 costs the same as this 5600X on sale. It’s not a much better CPU it’s pretty much a wash with one being better in some instances and vice versa.

      • and 5600x uses less power and benches are pretty much on par.
