Yep, these are the budget weapos, agreed. A bargain at this price still, as there's no competition. Current & last systems ran 2x8GB &...

It's not your forum, nor your world. If either are, I sincerely apologise. Otherwise; Try going in at-level next time - empathy is neither...

Mate, you really are a shocker. You've been ambiguously spruiking Sony on every Sony vs LG post since November. If you don't work for Sony,...

Sony - 60hz LG - 120hz No contest.

Don't you work for Sony though?

Sustainable pressure tactics by curt never fail to elicit my karen. Zody seems like a bargain in the long run.

$299 each retail...give or take.

Behringer Eurorack 1204 (or similar) mixer...2nd hand for less than $50. They never quit.

ABC News theme remix by Pendulum - the only solid truth to have come from any MSM source since the moon landing. No, 9/11. Wait, COVID.

I prefer the best deal & providing OP with the clearest information. Inferring that I prefer LG is about as good as the ambiguity & opinion...

OK pal. I like a bit of back & forth on these forums, with an end to either getting some new information, or until I smell BS. You my...

OK, I get that your saying I'm incorrect & that you know this based on information you've got from your mates and colleagues who are...

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/673974 There's stock of the 55" if you're keen. Not a bad price.

LG manufactures the panel for Sony, so Sony would be throwing 0% away with panel issues. Sony paying LG for the panels would mean they...

I haven't heard about that, but I don't doubt you, delivering a 65" OLED panel for 3 grand, there's bound to be panel issues. Or maybe 3K...

The C1 has hit $2880 finally, as part of BF & now boxing day sales, many months after release. Sure OLED tech is no longer cutting edge,...

Hope yopu got $4000+ saved by then for that new processor.
25/12/2021 - 21:46
Yeah I think a lot of C1's got sold on BF. I'm surprised JB is still advertising. TGG have them sold out until March or so in WA & they're...

I'm not really sure what you mean, the hack is possible under the current & most recent firmware. It simply increases the max nits to G1...

Image processing by the chip only helps when upscaling, which is what the Sony X1 processor is good at. Better than the LG's. However,...

Yeah same, swapped my 90H for a C1 & it's like night & day.
25/12/2021 - 18:11
Not sure what you mean. The OLED C1/80J each push 800nits (C1 will push 850 with a small hack), which is quite a bit more than the LED 90J.
25/12/2021 - 18:08
Nah...the 80J uses the LG panel from the C1, which is $2880 at JB atm - that's the better deal by quite a bit.
25/12/2021 - 18:05
Buy the OLED, move it closer to you. With a bigger (wider) TV table, it doesn't look out of place & gets you an extra 50cm+ screen to face.
25/12/2021 - 16:58
Yeah I thought I did my research pretty thoroughly before buying one & came to the same conclusion as you. All good then.

Dollars saved can't compare to how many frames you lose by waiting. But if you're mining only, invest elsewhere until the cost makes sense...
