Ordered 1/2kg of Buffalo Wings from Johnny Rockets Got 308g and picked up in-store

Ok you guys might be thinking oh 500g is the uncooked weight after cook it is always less

Well yes I know that but I think even after cooked it should weigh more than 308g and this was including the cardboard box

If you are looking at 30% loss in weight then it would be 350g pre packaging and the average on Google points to 25%

What can actually be done?

    TIL buffaloes have wings.

    I know flying creatures have very light bones, but just one wing from said buffalo has to be more than a couple of kilos.

    I think you've been taken for a ride, unless that wing came off a new born calf.

    The weight of the wings are meant to be 500g+ for the wings (yes including it's bones) regardless packaging - if you get this from supermarket then it's 500g+ raw or 500g+ cooked if this advertised in restaurant

    While we're on the subject of wings, we should have a national standard that clearly defines a wing as the tip, wingette and drumette. Restaurants like KFC that sell us an individual wingette or drumette as a wing should be punished.

    That's outrageous. Have you called them to tell them?
    Have you taken a photo of the item on top of a scale?
    Have you asked for a refund? Or taken it back?
    Whinging isn't going to do anything.

    Did you order through a delivery app? I noticed on UberEats it doesn't actually specify 1/2kg as it does on their in house menu.
