  • what was the referrer value previously?

  • Purchase of gift card also works as eligible purchase?

"All subscription services, digital services and surveys including but not limited to iTunes, Woolworths Gift Cards and Audible are expressly excluded from this promotion."

      • Surely a physical gift card is none of those? Or at least any non iTunes and Woolies ones, since they specifically name them?

  • Mine says $40

Also, my old referral link seems to have been quite out of date.

      Hi Scalding Coffee Cup,
Yes, it's $30 for standard CR members and $40 for ANZ Max members.
      You must be the latter.
      Thanks,
      minita

The Refer A Friend Promotion commences 10:00 AEST on 9 March 2022 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 11 March 2022.

so referee is required to register by end of March 11? then make $20 purchase within 90 days?

    • That's the way I read it.

CR is one of those things that fails so often that it's clearly designed that way. There's no way a system can be that buggy without it being on purpose.

  • Is referring another adult family member from same household eligible for bonus?

      Hi,
Unfortunately not. Please see the terms here… https://www.cashrewards.com.au/refer-a-friend-terms
Only ok for: any new, unique individual, who is not a member of your household (including yourself).
      thanks,
      minita

    • At no time was I asked for an address, only a post code. Just put delivery address at a friends or something if you buy something. I don't see them being able to work it out.

Pretty sure this is just a fake promo to sign people up.

6 from 6 from work colleagues we got declined -> https://imgur.com/a/lermC37

    • Did they provide a reason? You can ask them to investigate. Not sure what makes their system determine if a referral is genuine or fake. Maybe you and your colleagues all share the same work wifi which they picked up to have the same IP and declined based on that reason.
If that's the only reason then it's BS. You could be visiting a friend, or at work, a bbq etc, sharing the same wifi and genuinely refer them only to be screwed.
Perhaps referring 6 people in one day during a promotion and all proceeds to sign up raised a bit of suspicion. The referrer must be a really good salesman.
Or maybe everyone got their referral code from a webpage where someone is spamming their code.
Maybe you bought a 2nd hand phone, the previous owner had the App installed and they can pick up that the same IMEI number is registering a second account.
All speculation of course. Contact them and ask why. If they're genuine they should reinstate them.
If they say because you shared the same IP or just being vague like "we picked up something suspicious" and not elaborate further. Then this referral process is a bit dodgy.
If they don't tell you, you can't argue your case, then no point wasting time referring and explain how the cashback works, only to be declined over something innocent.

    • Hi @mlakmlak - I'm assuming that screenshot is not from this promotion, correct? You do realise there's a requirement that the person you referred needs to make a valid qualifying transaction of $20 or more in order for your RAF bonus to be approved? If you believe this is not the case, feel free to PM me and I will gladly be transparent here as to the reason it was declined for you and your colleagues. Thanks.
