Just reading some of the reviews on the JB Hi-Fi website and came across this one below. If correct that's pretty poor.
"I only gave it a 3 star because there are no replacement tire options once they wear out in a year (according to their own admission) ending the life or a perfectly good scooter going into landfill not to mention its double the cost of an equivalent scooter."
Perhaps when the review was posted replacements weren't available.

The f40a has pneumatic tyres which is a plus from me.
The unagi models are a little more portable though.

So they are finally coming to their senses. With zero R&D needed nowadays, no scooter should be more than $500 or so (even that might be too much). A ton of never-heard-of companies sourcing parts from China, putting them together in their garages and thinking a fancy name and ton of marketing will make people buy their stuff.
unagi is for ppl with more money than sense. they are beautifully made with expensive material used, but not for normal use. any problems and you might as well chuck it in the bin as you wont find part or the parts cost more than a new scooter. ideal if you have a mcmansion with marble floors and you need to get from one wing to the other.. its a premium product, but the premium yuppies out there are not buying hence heavily discounted to what they should be selling in the first place. jb is cutting their losses on these models..
