got two of these.. it's so frustrating to manually turn it ON everytime my computer turns on, rather than remember the last state.

    • I want to get one of these, I'm curious to find out how weighty they are, and also how far it can rotate around the round hinge? ie, does the lighting level with the clip, as I want to clip it horizontally, as opposed vertically like a monitor screen

built quality is good.. as in it's pretty weighty.. my monitor back isn't flat, so i had to tape it to the back to make it stay.

    • I use a white USB led strip light tape on the bottom of the monitor with the USB connected to the computer. A couple of dollars do the tricks quite well.

  • Would this be good for a 1800r curved monitor?

  • I got the Xiaomi version. Metal frame and worked on my 32" curved monitor perfectly. Also comes with a weird circular remote

      • yes! got it for 65$ a month ago. Best I had. can adjust color warmth and brightness, and the thing can turn super bright

      • is that^ the same as this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/687982

        • Different. The one in your link has RGB light at the back.

say u leave it on and turn off the monitor/pc does the lightbar turn off aswell?

and when you turn back on the pc does it turn on? or do you need to turn it on again?

      • Depends on where you plug the usb-c cord! I plug it into my Mac mini, so yes, it turns off when I turn off my computer. If you buy a seperate USB-C power wall adapter, then its on all the time.

          monitor usb-c port?

  • I got this one. Hard to keep it in place, keeps falling even the slight movement. Also mine develop a high pitch sound when the brightness is at low levels. I will avoid this as much as possible.

  • Forgive my ignorance but …. What exactly is the point of these things?
