sorry posted about yesterday purchase, the code not working today

Size is 1880mm x 740mm = 1.39 m2, which makes $138/m2. Other 350W ones are way smaller than this 200W. And this at least has some brand name and a page https://www.sunyee.com.au/products/12v-200w-folding-solar-pa….

  • Based on size at least it's possible in theory to get the claimed wattage.
However, I'm not sure if the brand name "ATEM POWER" is a good thing - seems to be a home-brand of VicOffRoad (aka sunyee).
And there are more negative than positive reviews of the blanket(s) here: https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/atem-power-folding…

    • most ppl reviewed 300W one, and complains are about power output, which is already fairer claim than nonames …

  • +1

I have this panel. On a bright sunny day in Brisbane, the peak output showed at 136 watts (via Anderson plug watt meter). The Victron Blue Solar MPPT controller showed a peak of 135 watts.

    200 watts? Not a chance.

    • is there better watts per dollar one?

      • the roman one sold by catch on Boxing day were, they used SunPower cell and I was able to pull 100w out of the 120w rated using my cheap chinese boost controller, I'm sure Victron can pull close to that theoretical number.

        • Found it: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/673880
          Dimensions (approx. cm): N/A Lol
          Snowys gives 175L x 41W cm = 0.7 m2
          Which gives efficiency (100W) = 100/0.7 = 140W/m2
          Willyroo efficiency 1 136W/1.4m2 = 100 W/m2

Willyroo efficiency 2: 160W/ … need size, plz?

Just gatherung stats here. Anyone else? :)

    • @WILLYROO How well do other panels stack up with their claims?

      • Well my only other panel is a Sunyee 160W folding panel, purchased in 2016. Peak when new just over 160W. Peak now high 140s.

        • What size is this mat plz?
