  • wow, thats a great price… i paid about $150 for 500gb of the same model a couple of months ago…

5 yr warranty (although really 3 years, with partial warranty for the final 2 years)

  • Stock clearance on EOL product, Seagate is refreshing the whole line, great value though, 1+

  • I love to hear the word EOL from manufacturers. Only means savings to me.

  • EOL heh? but there's no 1.5tb or 2tb single drive yet :)

or maybe a design changeover. I admit that FreeAgent Desktop is rather chunky and awkward design for external drive. I rather like lacie/WD element design. Simple and Elegant.

    • there is a 1.5tb hdd and also a design changeover

      • impressive :) didn't realise that 1.5tb is out now (rather that the months later as planned)

  • how much is delivery?

    • Chopz,
Add it to the cart, then plug in your postcode, and update it to get the shipping costs.
Doesn't look too bad, only $10.30 to rural QLD.

  • Is it 5% cheaper from officeworks?

  • Don't think officeworks has this hard disk, do they?

  • I went to officeworks in Canberra last night and they didnt have it.

  • awesome! just got one from the ht downstairs, great find!

  • Alas, they seem to be out of stock.

  • You can still take advantage of the low price and order it. When they get it from wherever they're getting it from, they'll ship it out to you.

  • ordered 2 of em, got em yesterday! sweet deal

  • Went to officeworks cause I had coles vouchers but they had run out of stock. I just got them to match the price with a western digital ' My Book ' 1TB. Close enough for me.

  • got 2 today, sweet drive

  • Anyone cracked one open to see which model drive is inside?
