Anko PS5 Controller Slim Charging Dock $3 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ $65 Order) @ Kmart

200

Cheap PS5 charging dock for $3, works well imo.
They also have some other PS5 accessories such as charging packs and docks with charging lights on clearance but they're not listed online.

  • Does anyone know how well it works charging Switch Pro and Xbox Series X controllers? Do they fit alright?

went straight to rubbish bin after 2-3 use. Don't waste your 3$

Was it because it didn't sit right, didn't work or was too slow to charge?

        Tick tick annnnd tick

  • Giving it a crack for $3

Be aware it is using usb c instead of the proper docking connections that the remote have.

      Looks super annoying to use.

Wouldn’t trust these cheap charging docks. Might turn your white PS5 into a black one

    • But it doesn't matter if it's black or white.. hee hee.

      • It’ll turn it into a limited edition PS5 in that it would have limited (or zero) functionality

It is just a stand, with USB-C power passthrough. Could be used to charge/power many things, with usb_C becoming more common.
    5V only.

Note is has no data lines connected. I grabbed a couple for spare parts. The male parts are in a removable block.

  • Cheap and nasty?

  • The best product on the market to ensure you completely stuff up your USB-C Port

    • You'd have to be brute forcing your controller on the dock if you manage to break either port.

      • Nothing to do with force. Charging your controller with this kind of dock, and doing so each day will eventually destroy the port on the controller. That's the main reason to buy the Sony genuine or similar that use the gold contact pins underneath the microphone to charge. There is a reason they introduced the contact pins method to charge DS for the PS5.
These chargers are cheap trash to save $20 only to ruin a $90 controller.

        • How will it destroy it? I've never had these style of docks destroy any phones, iPods, gaming controllers, etc. It even has support to hold the weight.
It's literally the same as charging by USB cable which the majority of owners do.

If charging by contact was so essential to the life of the controller Sony would have scrapped the USB port.

          • @Gehirn: Well then….go ahead. Sounds like you have it all under control.

  • It's basically an USBC splitter with so extra plastics. $3 is okay for a USBC cable in retailers tho.
