just received mine this morning, ordered hot chilli (has a decent kick) and white chocolate, both very nice, white choc was packaged in an insulated reflective bag with small ice pouches, overall very happy and would buy again

To anyone that is facing no progress with their tracking it is likely that your order is held up due to an issue with the supply of chocolate Macadamia nuts from our processor.

We had begun the packing process of your order on the basis that we would be restocked with more chocolate Macadamias, however we haven't been as yet.

We do apologise profusely for this! We will be sending out an update email today and providing an extra 100g mystery pack to those of you who have had to wait in order to try and make it up to you!

    just spoke to kylie from the nuthut. she was lovely and confirmed that she will complimentary send me one that i ordered without needing me to send back the one that was sent incorrectly. I would like to compliment kylie at the nuthut on her lovely service. The ozbargain community has ordered over a thousand orders with the nuthut and as a community, we are supporting local business. This business has been effected by the floods, they had insulation bags for the chocolate mac nuts and the flood ruined all their bags. I received the lime and pepper pack as the free sample. Wow they are salty as! I do enjoy salty foods, but even these are a bit too much.
I think I need to have them with beer.
Well they were free to try so not complaining.

Have yet to open the other bags I ordered.

  Hi there, the ice packs are self contained and will not melt or leak into your package. They really are just added as a precaution during the summer months. We're confident they will be fine, we send packages across to WA that do take a few weeks to get there during these current times where AusPost is running at high capacities and we haven't faced an issue.

Received my nuts today.

I have only tried the dark chocolate and the lime and black pepper. They are delicious! packaged really well. Highly recommend.

UPDATE

We’ve picked up our outstanding stock and all orders that do not include any chocolate Macadamias will be posted out over today and tomorrow. Due to the floods here again this week there are some more AusPost delays to be expected that are out of our control unfortunately.

Everyone with outstanding orders that contain chocolate Macadamias will have received an email update by this evening. If you haven't please check your junk mail folder.

Finally got my order, DON'T ORDER THE HICKORY SMOKED, they are salty to the point of being inedible.

edit: this isn't just my opinion, this is the opinion of 5 other people as well at my BBQ, needless to say they weren't eaten

  We have actually adjusted the recipe once already to reduce the sodium content due to similar feedback. However it's a fine balance as some people tend to enjoy the saltyness of the bacon-like flavour.

  I received mine earlier in the week and just tried the smoked hickory and can agree they are quite salty, although I'm aware my tolerance is salt is not as high as the average person. The flavour is good, but agree it'd be much better if the salt levels can be toned down.

I just received my order and the honey roasted is amazing! Not too sweet and crunchy. I got the hickory smoked as my sample and tbh I'm not a fan. If you like smoked salmon and bacon you'll like it. The chocolate covered ones are good but I can only eat a few a day otherwise it's too sweet. The chocolate will last me for a while!

  I've found mixing the hot spicy with the smoked hickory in a 30/70 mix gives just the right amount of smoke & heat.

My 2 kilo order arrived today with the two bonus 100g packs. I got basic packa, nothing exciting. Just dry roasted and salted. And fragments of nuts.

Considering it's in the packs, 'packed in 22nd March' very disappointing to get them delivered 28th April.

This was posted 2 years 1 month 25 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal.
