Do you even have stocks before posting this deal here? I have heard a lot about Zavvi business practices such as take orders first then find out if there are stocks to fulfill the orders and if not just cancel the orders and hope buyers forget to chase for refunds.

Mine was delivered after about 4 weeks so it's not too bad.

    • First and last time buying from them…different set. took 2 months to arrive and when it did, a quarter of the box (both outside and the actual lego set box) have water damaged!!!
If you don't mind the wait and the chances of torn/damaged box to save you approx 10% (unless big cashback), then go for it. CS is hopeless and won't doing anything, only using standard reply and takes couple of days to reply as well.

I had an issue with an item arriving crushed. Sent them a
message and they immediately replied. Long story short, continual communication and the item got replaced, free of charge, just took about 8 weeks. (Had to send damages item back and then replacement sent on arrival).

    • Did you send damaged item back at your cost?

They reimbursed me the cost (cash transfer into my account). Replacement item arrived in good condition.

I ordered lego from Zavvi beginning of December last year after over 3 months they still hadn't even shipped it and couldn't give me a date when they may ship. Only got refunded last week. Never again, they sell stock they don't have.

Hopefully this gets attention on the post, Zavvi is awful to deal with and people should exhaust all other options before using them.

    • they sell stock they don't have

They'll get busted hard for that then if someone reports them

  • Needs motors, considering RRP

  • I've bought two lego sets from Zavvi with no issues at all. I've had more drama ordering from lego and them using Toll to deliver the set.

    • I agree with this. I had an issue with the now retired Gingerbread house when I ordered with Lego. It got stuck at Toll. When I rang them, they tried to find out what happened the item, I was told it will already be sent to me but a week later again, I got a notification from Toll saying that the item was going back to Lego! And the Lego call center person couldn't also help me out even if I told them to resend it again once they receive it in their warehouse. Anyway long story short, they didn't manage to help me out and the set retired and it was already 80 dollars more expensive to buy other than from Lego.
