Don’t do it…. I left Telstra for the last 1/2 price Vodafone deal and have regretted it every single day since.

      • Guess it depends on your location…I get better Voda service in Melbourne CBD than I do Telstra/boost.

        • How's the internet browsing when in a crowded shopping centre? I'm with telstra and the connection in so unstable when I'm at highpoint to the point that i have to get out of the building just to use the net

      • Amen!

Awww boost or this with 5G … decisions decisions …. !!!

      • Just also realised Boost removed their data-free on Apple music..

  • Thank you so much!
    I am buying 4 tomorrow ;)

  • Can I recieve SMS while in overseas? Or I need to buy the add on service (https://www.vodafone.com.au/prepaid/plans/international-roam…)?
I just need to get some SMSes and check my voicemails while overseas.
    Thanks

    • yes, used it last month

  • If I want to port in from Optus to Vodafone, can I buy this sim and then initiate the port in request ? Or this just won’t work ?

    • You can initiate the port when activating the SIM

  • Can this be activated as a $250 data SIM?

    • +1

You can use it as a data SIM if you want to. Data SIM's and phone SIM's are identical, they just block calls on what are sold as data SIM's.

It can only be activated for what is advertised on the packet, however. Eg if it includes 150GB of data and calls, that's what it will get. That can't be changed until you recharge it (if you do).

  • I have bought a $250 Prepaid SIM Vodafone Starter Pack thinking i was purchasing this OzB deal but it does not state long expiry or the GB anywhere on the pack, so I have presumably bought the wrong one. Just out of curiosity, can someone tell me what I have actuallly paid for and why does it not state the GB anywhere on the pack?

If you paid $125 for it, it is fine. As the promo changes from time to time, the sticker was just not added.

Better to get 12 months 200GB for $125 with this deal:

    • Can I return the WWS one?

      • No, I tried to return mine, bought in error (OK, my error), was told politely but firmly there is no refund on SIM cards. Just put it in a drawer for 11months and 29 days? Leads me to wonder, can I legally on-sell a SIM?

  • any discounted gift cards that I can use towards officeoworks?

  • Thanks OP! Bought one at my local woolies in Lidcombe.
They didn't have the half price stickers on the vodafone ones, but it scans up as $125.

  • Just bought the Lebara's $50 sim. It is only showing 13 gb data! Anybody knows what is wrong?

  • Damn.. Missed out by 1 day. Think it's expired now.

      Southland Woolies $125

      • Thanks - might check around.

  • would these vodafone sim's be compatible with a blackvue dashcam ? I suspect the 150GB wouldnt be enough on high quality.
