                                                                  @yunsul: Should be pretty set and forget as standard, not much bloat on the windows os as far as I can tell. If you want to you can enable hybrid mode (should be in lenovos tool in windows) which will let it use amd's igpu to run a bit cooler if its not on load but there will be a performance impact.

                                                                  Personally planning to install a second nvme drive and dual boot fedora, will let you know how that goes. If you need anything lmk, more of a hobbyist.

                                                                  @yunsul: Conclusion is for the time being installing linux on my specific laptop is more trouble than its worth, has issues. Installing a new nvme drive or different ram is pretty simple, just get a guitar pick and take your time.

                                                                      @mckayver: Yep, good cooling system etc, will get a less bulky charger, just need to wait to see if I can change the os down the road.
                                                                      TLDR laptops good, support for linux needs to mature before I can dual boot.

                                                                      @mckayver: further diagnosis, pinned it on the nvme drive I pulled from my dead laptop, working theory is its a weird compatability thing with 2 drives in dual boot with this model or the laptop damaged it on its way out.

                                                                    @MARK577: Hey guys, just received the L5P today, everything looks the goods but it can't connect to the wifi (mine as well as my neighbours).
                                                                    It just mentions 'cant connect to network.'
                                                                    I have updated the drivers but no good.
                                                                    Funnily enough I can connect to my mobile hotspot.
                                                                    Anyone experienced this or have any tips? Thanks!
