  • Bad Gateway Host error…

    Getting slammed….

  • Site has been ozbargained already

Edit: And it's not even the disc version

    • +1

$999 is the disc version with 2 controllers and 2 games

  • +3

Terrible price better price from EB. Almost $1000 for disc version with 2 games.

    • You know it's a bad deal when even EB Games puts them to shame.

      • Why? Is EB renowned for bad deals?

        • They are renowned for have the highest prices across the board for anything gaming. Amazon and JB are consistently cheaper.

  • Only see the $999 bundle with the extra controller, horizon, and planet coaster.

Digital was the better deal imo

      • +7

Gotta disagree, mate. Digital's never a deal in my book when you're subjected to their PS store prices. (Unless you're looking to scalp but that's a different story)

        • +2

I don't buy Discs anymore but each to their own
Both bundles were available for me last refresh

Trying to prove to a machine that I am a human

    • +2

      Should be “prove you’re not a scalper”…😅

      Reverse turing test

This is some poor web-hosting. For a brand like gamesmen you’d think It’ll be able to handle the traffic.

    • Fully agree, hope they upgrade it for scalability

Honestly feels pretty slimy doing this kind of bundle for something they know is going to sell out near instantly

    • +6

Sony have been doing this directly with the 2 controller bundle the whole time.

It's not like they made a different box that has an extra controller in it. They literally just ship an extra controller (at full RRP) with a normal disc edition, and they sell that "bundle" directly from there website, which I know, because that's what I got.

If it didn't have the extra controller bundled with it, literally anyone could just buy a controller anywhere they want in whatever colour they want, and it would only ever cost the same or less than the one they were forced into buying.

The forced scarcity of this generation of consoles is really causing some pretty scummy behaviour all around.

  • +1

Their main website (https://www.gamesmen.com.au/video-games/ps5) says "PS5 SOLD OUT - Those with PS5 in cart may continue to checkout"

  • +5

Wow they are really throwing any old games, that Planet Coaster disc is likely to be an actual coaster for most people.
Filthy business practice to do such unattractive bundles for high value items, next they'll be throwing in RATs or facemasks

  • +2

They're taking the piss with this story. I wonder how can this be the best selling console of all times without even being available in stores

    • +1

It’s not the best selling console of all time. It’s the best selling console of the new generation but we still haven’t seen mid and late gen considering Xbox can catch up and even then Nintendo haven’t released there new system
