Given how bad a health fund NIB is they should be offering a 50% discount on the gift cards! And even then you’d still be way worse off being with them.
Tried to buy and they suspended my Rewards access… Now it will take 5 business days to unblock. :(
Last time I tried to buy a $500 card but they were sold out. So I bought 10x $50 cards.

Something is wrong with those Amazon gift cards, I tried buying a $200 gift card and my account is blocked also. Perhaps the 5.5% discount link is not supposed to be public and hence everyone who tried to buy them gets banned?
It's still 5.5% on their app and website…I didn't come across this and just tried to make a $200 GC purchase with the wife's credit card. I thought it was the credit card that got me blocked but it seems like all large amount Amazon Gift Card purchases blocks accounts?
If you try to buy several in a row you might be (I just was) blocked out (false positive trigger). I bought 2K worth of them in one purchase, and then I tried to buy another $500 and I got locked out. I've called them and they told me they will unblock me in up to 3 bussiness days 🤬. . Also, there are 2500 limit for a week, and not 4K as advertised. f'ed up.
effectively 4.5% then. still a good deal but i think 4.5% deserves to go on the title cos surcharge is unavoidable.
