[Steam, Epic] Europa Universalis IV Complete Bundle $27.27 for 33 Items ($1.36/$13.63/$21.07 for 1/8/21 Items) @ Humble Bundle

310

Humble is offering the complete* bundle of Europa Universalis IV for $27.27 which is crazy good value if you believe the RRP for all the DLC (more info below). There are several tiers but it's way too much work to type it all out. Maybe others can chime in if any of the tiers other than the top is worthwhile.

Sorry, I don't know much about this game so I'm going to quote a couple of reddit posters. As per Reddit's u/SilentR0b who quoted u/artpixel, this is basically the Europa Universalis IV: Ultimate Bundle which is everything EUIV related to date minus:

I'm guessing these two newer DLCs were released after the ultimate bundle was created. You do get also get a 10%* off coupon to purchase the Origins DLC in the humble store. Not sure what's going on here. The window at humblebundle says 10% off at the top, and $10 off down the bottom. If anyone has purchased this already and has redeemed the coupon let us know what it really is.

The Ultimate Bundle is currently $554.70 at Steam. Best price according to ITAD is $186.99 at WinGameStore.

Edit: I did go ahead and buy this bundle. The coupon is 10% off and doesn't stack with Humble Choice discounts so it's kinda worthless for members.

I just bought a 6 month subscription not 2 long ago aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :(

    • Ooh, that stings. Sorry to hear that. Took one for the team.

Does the subscription just give you access to all the available content for the 6 months?

Edit: Any way to get a refund or partial refund? Can always just ask???

      • Yea it gives you access to everything. Just checked a FAQ on pdxplaza and it says it's not refundable at all. I knew these deals from Humble happened but they normally leave out a lot of DLC so I thought buying a 6 month subscription was pretty safe lol. I've sunk 900 hours in this game and haven't touched a single content mod yet so I think I still got my money's worth.

Humble has been really strong lately. I don't know if I should buy this bundle even if it is amazing value. Spent so much lately on games that I'll probably never play. I'll probably at least wait to see what Fanatical's charity bundle is like which should drop in the next few hours. There's also that driving bundle…

  • great game once you get past the tutorial

As someone who has spent about 1500 hours in the game, I'm still an ameteur.
To properly appreciate this game you need to like math, maps, flags and history memes.
A comparison of Civ and EU is like that of a child to an adult.

The full $27 bundle is GREAT value.

    • It doesn't really make sense to not get the top tier does it? Would you bother with the latest DLC, Origins?

      • Africa region is kinda fun, if the steam reviews are neutral or better, its probably decent (EU4 gets a lot of negative attention because of their 'DLC' prices)
I havent played EU4 since the Emperor update, so i cant comment on any of the newer DLC's.
Its always cheaper to find the DLC's on 3rd party key sites, wingamestore is my goto for paradox games, they are almost always on sale over there (including now) where origins is $9.50.

Can always get the base game to try first. Bundle is there for 20 days and should be able to buy the rest before it ends.

    • If there was a tight ass tip of the week, I would vote for this comment!

      • Just check you can first. Some I though they disable this setting.

A lot of us Ozbargainers probably already have the base as it was given away for free last year. Check your Epic library.

I haven't played in 4+ years but this is a game that sticks with you. Brilliant value, I've never seen the dlcs together in a remotely affordable bundle before.
