    I bought this in 2020….power…bloody cheap plastic material….real flimsy… not worth it.

    Careful, this a year or so ago and they don’t really register well (the swords so it doesn’t pop up when it should ) enough unless I got a lemon XD

      got mine about same time and the kids got frustrated cause it would never pop even when you stick in the "correct" hole
      it had to be at a certain angle and with certain amount of force for it to work

    Got a few for Christmas 2 years ago, probably same price. Pooh mechanism isn’t that great, a few rounds went by where pirate didn’t jump up at all. Returned them.

    Umm what? The only speech development my kids get is telling me I'm a noob when I pop the pirate.

    All seriousness tho… It's the same hole the pops everytime? Any kid after 5 works this out. Unless I'm missing something as we just got one from the op shop.

          I have one that's 40 year old and one that is 3 years old. No change. The sword slot to win is always random. It appears likely that the version you have is faulty.
