Just avoid Gigabyte mobo at all cost, nothing but headaches for me. I am in the process of getting refund, and SE support from email is very slow too, watch out for after-sales support.
Most of the parts I've ever bought were Gigabyte and never had a problem.
This gen they are no good unfortunately.
You might need to explain further on what wrong, all my parts are gigabyte too and I have not had any issues, I've used gigabyte for when building computers for family members. everything went smoothly
@StingyCoomer: They had some issues with DRM, which I believe was fixed. They should be largely fine at this point. I would guess there's probably better options for such a high end chip, which will seemingly keep boosting as much as your components can take.
Gotta remember, they hold a big market share and offer a lot of budget mobos. So there's going to be a lot of issues purely from a numbers standpoint.
Personally I prefer Asus, I think they have much better mid to high end offerings. But everyone will have their allegiances. Most of it comes from 'I had one of those and it stopped working/caught fire/turned into a capsicum' etc and then they seemingly never trust the brand again. Personally i've had loads of Gigabyte problems without issue, but they were basic mobos for basic builds. Worked fine. shrugs

I got floaty mouse movement which is horrible in FPS gaming and have tried everything to get rid of it (bios flashes and fresh win10 installs)…has to be the f**king mobo!
