    Good phone and good deal. I've been using my M4 pro for a week or two now.

    AMOLED screen is nice, works fine with NFC for Google pay, fast charging works well. Haven't taken many photos but camera seems ok, just no 4k video.

      Better battery, screen, storage.
      835 and g96 are of similar performance, and even slightly better gaming performance. POCO is of better cam but my experience is "similar", but more versatile for different ranges of focus.
      Good value enough now. I personally would wait a while for better discount with the 5g version: not better right now, but the second hand sells better/easier when I need to update next year.

      I have the M4 Pro myself, yes, there is a silicone cover and pre-applied screen protector on the phone already.

      I think practically most devices from POCO or Xiaomi will come with both, not necessarily the highest quality (plastic screen protector, cheapish silicone case) but they are a nice touch. Got both with my POCO X3 Pro.

      It will be with the stock app. I always recommend installing Google Camera for any Android phone as it makes the photos miles better.

        GCam doesn't work great on Mediatek phones. Laggy, prone to exposure metering and focus issues, some things like astrophotography usually don't work

        Snapdragon is best for GCam, especially with a sony sensor. Poco X3 Pro works well.

          Do you know if that impacts the newer MediaTek chipsets? Ones like the G96 and Dimensity are much more high end and comparable to Qualcomm compared to a few years ago.

            @Clear: Id say so - tried it on the Moto Edge 20 Fusion (Dimensity 800U which is pretty speedy) and had the above issues. Gcam was developed for Snapdragon chips and integrates quite tightly with the hardware, so the GCam port devs had to do a fair bit of work to get it working at all on Mediatek and it's definately not 100%. Samsung Exynos phones have similar issues.

            For good GCam-ing on Poco phones I'd recommend the X3 Pro - it has a good quality Sony sensor and the Snapdragon 860 has plenty of grunt to keep up with rapid snapping. There's plenty of active development and with the config files floating around you can get everything working including ultrawide, video stabilisatoin, slowmo video so you never need to go back to the stock cam

      99% certain the colour you see in the listing is what you get. Given Yellow is POCO's colour I'd expect it to be.
