Gigabyte M32QC 31.5" 170Hz FreeSync 1ms KVM Gaming Monitor $419 + Delivery ($0 VIC C&C/ to Metro) + Surcharge @ Centre Com

260

Have been looking for a 32 inch monitor with VA panel, 2k resolution, 165hz refresh rate and USB-C input, seems like this is the cheapest one with above features, $419 is also the lowest for this model that I can find. 2% surcharge applies for AmEx payment.

439 on Amazon, with free shipping. Might be cheaper for some

How is 439 delivered cheaper than 419 delivered?

I was getting $60 delivery to WA

          Eww, that sucks

The title is inaccurate - centrecom's "free shipping" only applies for metro areas. For me, this product has $50 shipping (QLD).

  • Pretty much same price around shops 419 free shipping ple n others

  • Bit the bullet bought 419 from ple delivered

Why were you looking for VA apart from price?

    • +1

That was probably the main reason, but perhaps also better black levels than IPS?

      • Interesting you mention that because I was actually at centrecom on the weekend and looking at the M27Q vs G32QC (cause they were near each other) and the M27Q had so much better 1) colours overall 2) better blacks.

I spent about 20 min changing the settings on the G32QC to try and match the M27Q and it wasn't even close.

        • IPS should always win on colours, but VA usually has the advantage of deeper blacks. There are obviously good and bad panels in each though.

This would be a better monitor by far, $550. I guess that is a decent price hike still though.

  • So is this the same as the M32Q that hardware unboxed / rtings reviewed?

    Nevermind not the M32Q.

M32Q was $599 today. Cheapest ive seen it was $519 during Xmas.

      Alternatives
      - LG 32GP83B was $509 during afterpay sales two weeks ago
      - LG 32GP850B is $599 @ wireless1 atm …. try to get Officeworks to price match then -5% discount (JB would only price match the wireless1 deal and not the -5% OW "could" offer)
      - Dell G3223D $568 from the 20% ebay sales

You can kinda see i've been on the hunt for a monitor :P My take on it is 4K 144hz / OLED seems to be getting cheaper … so either they will become the "choice" or the 1440p will become cheaper. I'm rooting for the former !!!

      • Thanks mate. Yeah been holding out for a while. May just bite next time the M32Q is on sale near 500.

Using a gaming laptop so 1440p more than sufficient for me!

Being able to use a 4k 144 would be so nice tho hahaha
