    ok

  • @least 30xx series cards are still current

    • When they have been mined with 24/7 for their entire life, they are basically bound to die sooner rather than later.

      • Doesn't matter if they're still under warranty.

    HDMI is better than VGA

    • Some monitors don't even come with a VGA port on them anymore, so you definitely want HDMI or DVI and not VGA.

  • All good, none of those are minis.

Pro tip: Ask seller if the components are still current.

  • Just don't trust any PC pre-built.

That sector of the IT industry is a complete failure. Incredibly high levels of competition, because any bozo can insert parts into other parts and use a screwdriver.

And yet every vendor, including the largest such as Dell and HP, are scam artists ripping off customers with low quality crud that hasn't even been put together properly.

  • Thanks for the note but its very hard to verify if its ex miner or not. As long as you get the full warranty thats the least of my concerns.

Same goes for car mechanics that put used parts and charge you 'new' parts such as compressors/alternators etc. You wont know unless you really inspect it.
