No gold required. The Xbox 360 store shows it at $7.48. It only shows this price on the modern xbox consoles and the Xbox Marketplace.

      Oh yeah, i forgot streaming from the cloud is an option these days, i have had nothing but horrible experiences with it personally, and i can't imagine it being a good time with a timing/combo based game like Skate, but sure, guess it could be worth a try.
