      Think Alixpress in-app games. You can get chances at cashback or instant $ but probability is like 0.5%. This game is like bejewelled.

        Only worse. The first version of this was quite good but then they changed it. I played the first one frequently but with new one I couldn't draw lines anywhere near as fast as before, so got far less points. It also couldn't recognise lines near as fast as the first version. And they made the jewels or whatever they are smaller I think, packing too many onto a phone screen (and my phone is larger than most models). I played it heaps before but the changes meant game play was kind of crippled now compared to previously. It was too frustrating so I went from setting an alarm every time I had a new game, to abandoning it entirely.

        The new version didn't recognise I was drawing a line half the time. So I'd start drawing a line through 3x or more gems or whatever they are, oops it didn't draw, try again, argh try again, and… too late - timer runs out. Instead of getting 8+ points I was getting 1 and 2.

        The orange became too close in shade to yellow too, making you think slower to work out if you have 3+ the same or not. I don't know why this happened because the colours were fine with the previous version, and my phone screen is clear and vibrant with colours that really pop on everything else.

        Anyway after seeing this deal I just tried it again and those flaws are all still there.

      Nothing. The game is slow, unresponsive and sometimes clearly miscalculates outcomes. Not worth your time.

        LOL. Yep just posted similar above. Doesn't recognise my finger half the time, two colours are too close in shade, too many gems on the screen than it was before making it awful on a small phone screen… I used to play it lots but gave up. I was hoping it had gotten better, but I just checked and it's still much less playable than the first version.

    For those who don't know, this is basically in-game currency that you normally earn from playing the minigame in your Shopback mobile app.

    The currency (gems) is used for:

    • buying random loot boxes, which can result in you getting a straight up cashback (ranging from as little as a 20 cents to a few dollars) or a discount voucher

    • Buying tickets for the $500 CB Lucky draw

    • Extra lives (retries) for the minigame which is consumed with every play session.

        then i go into the game and i only have 54 diamonds - are diamonds these 'gems' that we speak of?

      Don't press reply instead exit and relaunch the game it lets you see the troopers before you play so you can see where to start each game.

      I get the same "Didn't find anything here" message which then freezes the Shopback app; need to restart to be able to use Shopback.
      I'm on a Samsung Android tablet. I always assumed this meant you couldn't play on a tablet as I have played in the past on my mobile but very slow.
      I did get the flash of a message about changing Android settings in Play Games. Is that the Google Play Games app?
      Still can't work it out.

    Worked for me (thanks OP), but what's the point when all you get are lucky draw entries… whoopee.

    The original version of the game I could win 5/10/20/50 cents or whatever at least every few days, but since they "improved it", the cash prizes have gone and it seems increasingly more difficult to get higher scores.

    I had more luck with their scratch off daily check in thing… at least on that I got a $1-2.

      This is only my vague recollection from back when I used to play it constantly (the first version I mean - back when it was a much more playable game that actually recognised my finger)… so I'm only answering because no-one else has. They were giving away lots of points and bonus cashbacks at the time. I want to say it took several months, but I might be remembering that incorrectly. So let's say it showed pending for at least a couple of months. I do remember it took so long that when I finally got a message "your pending blah blah has been approved", I thought, "Huh!? Oh yeah… I remember now… about time." (Why on earth approval of a bonus from the company itself takes so long is beyond me. It should be automatic. It's not like they're going to deny themselves approval.)
