Got a pair of these last year. The sole is rock hard and noisey on the floor. Didn’t like them at all. It was like walking on solid concrete.

    • Looking at the last pair I got, the sole is unfortunately made in China. I've still got a pair of Ugg Boots (calf-high) that I still wear and they are great, probably 30 years old! If I remember correctly I bought them from the Brunswick factory. They had a much softer rubber sole (crepe?), more rubbery/spongey than the scuffs and a lot more comfortable than the current sole. These hard clip-clop ones makes it difficult for me to climb a flight of stairs. I am hoping they will break in with wear, and get softer with age.

edit: I might have been conned! I bought my scuffs in November from Target, and upon closer inspection they are listed as "Mens Grosby Uggs Suede Scuff Slippers". The inner tag has "Grosby UGGs". The side is embossed with

      UGGs

with the "s" in a tiny subscript font.

I thought I was getting the genuine item. I remember a bit of a trademark war with the name a few years ago, but calling them UGGs is too similar and deceptive.

  • +2

Not sure if the quality of UGGs has gone down but the last pair of slippers I bought for the Mrs had to be returned after the stitching split. Same thing then happened to the replacement so we just put them in the bin. Both times within a couple of weeks of indoor use.

  • Keen on discount codes for Baby Booties and Joey Boots too please!

    Thanks bought a couple

  • -2

I am getting $89 as the price. Do I need to enter any code?

  • thanks OP, picked up a pair of kids boots

  • Too small for my big feet :(

  • Bought a pair a few years ago, wear them every evening, morning and there still like new, so comfy …

  • +5

Trash company… wouldn't buy from them. Look at previous deals and comments about the products. Absolutely 0 customer service post purchase.

Still haven't received a response to my email enquiry about a return from 2 years ago.

    • 2 years and you're still griping over a $30 pair of slippers? Build a bridge! Lol.

      • -1

No the "slip"-pers are in the bin.

I care about the 7518 people that clicked on this deal and their elderly parents that might have a traumatic fall wearing this garbage.

        Such a FRED comment.

    • +9

Was a repeat buyer (1st pair lasted a decent amount of time several years ago) but within 2 months most of the wool had worn away from both heels. Won't buy a third pair.

    • +5

100% agree with you, had similar experience and they were absolutely useless helping me relocate my order.

Took them 4 months to finally send me a new pair after they lost my original pair. Once I got them, they were the wrong size.

    • +3

Agree. Quality is crap as well

      • +2

        Hasn’t been my experience.

    • I would say that's why they're limiting it to 2000 pairs this time.

    • +1

Things were pretty bad service wise when I first dealt with them, I gave them a second chance though and they were much better. Got a replacement for a pair where the wool wore off after a couple of months.

    • +2

I disagree. I'm a repeat customer and find the products great and I've never had an issue with the service.

From what I see, with a rep on here responding to personal requests, I don't think your opinion is representative.

  • Hey OP I ordered wrong size how do I cancel order ?

    • +1

We are onto it now for you EP

      • -1

Sent you a PM regarding the same. Can you help please?

  • I wish the chestnut pairs are on sale 😅

  • These are quite comfortable and soft, would definitely buy again (but I reckon my current ones have a little more room to be thrashed first)

  • +2

Bought from them last year. Very comfy and still going strong despite losing much of its fluffiness.

    • +1

That's pretty normal, the wool compresses after a while, even my old proper ones from many years ago did that.

  • +1

not sure you can be saying you're the only start-to-finish aussie company. there's others like UGG Since 1974.

    • +1

We own the LAST sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia 🇦🇺

    • hmm UGG Since 1974 claim to be start to finish too, though I wonder what their definition of start is. Perhaps from pickup from wharf? (/Sarcasm. They do say Australian merino skins - they must be buying them from Ugg Australia!!??)

  • There is no men's scuffs discount?

  • Code: BIG

  • I am based in Sydney and I am travelling on Friday. if I order now can I get it via standard shipping before that? will be taking these for mom and dad

    • Yes they should arrive in time, however personally I would choose express just to make sure

  • +1

Is there any mens slippers with a very soft base, I have a strange set of feet and the hard flat sole causes me pain..
I'd love a thick soft cushion for a base.

  • +2

Got a couple of pairs of these from a previous sale and find them to be excellent - very warm and comfortable. You can't really clean them and I consider them to be semi-disposable so I'll order some more.

  • If they were bunny slippers I'd be in!

  • Thanks OP - got a couple

  • -1

I bought a pair before the pandemic and they were durable and lasted daily wear at home day and night. Extremely comfortable and warm for winter and the slip on slip off design keeps things simple.

Only this year did they begin to fall apart and I’ve a new pair that are just as comfortable. Recommended and great deal for Australian Made and importantly, owned too.

  • -4

Beware, quality is pretty bad. They do feel great for a month or two then they go bad. I would not buy again. That rrp is nonsense, 30 bucks is already a premium for a pair of slippers.

    • +2

There's a cheaper pair of merino slippers for sale? Please share the link.

    • +1

I mean it sucks that you've had a less than great experience but damn, $30 would barely cover an Australian worker's hourly wage plus materials, and these are 100% merino wool.

  • +2

Bought a lot of stuff last week. Delivery was quick, received within few days in Sydney. Got adult boots. Me and wife happy. Bought kids boots as well. Kids happy although not much discount.

Beware: Got 4 pillows. They are beyond rubbish. Something you would order off wish.

Front side is wool. The other side is like a plastic netting vinyl material with a big zipper down the middle. So not only is the material not comfortable it has a big zipper down the centre of the material, which cuts the square shape in half making it crap to use as a pillow for anything. Also pillow is super hard and very small. I can't describe how bad they are. Wow. They aren't feel like offcuts being sold and to be honest I feel ripped off not ozbargained..

    • I also ordered 4 cushions. Agree, the cushion covers seem like rough offcuts. Don’t look at all good on lounges, where they are so small and mismatched they are swamped. Reached out to customer service, no reply. Seems like the reps are only responsive in the selling phase, not interested in any follow up issues. Disappointed!

      • I’m here, what’s your order number, I contact you?

        • # 64306 and #64229
            Thank you

          • @davestan: In response to posting here customer service called me and resolved issue.

        • I have 3 orders but the problem was 64321

  • I bought these in June last year hoping they would be better than the cheap Kmart crap but sadly they were no better.
Didn't even last through one winter before the wool comes off. Very hard sole and no wool to cushion….
    Disappointing.

Hi OP, I bought this black slipper October last year and after 2 months the inner lining looks like this pic, is this normal?
I’m keen of ordering the boots but I worried it will be same as this problem.

    Photo

    • Mine look similar. I think it's because the friction and pressure causes 'matting'/felting and also eventually wears away at the fibres.

  • Hi
My existing one is US13, guess is Men14. Will that back in stock?

  • +2

    Hey Op,
Can you please pass on a feedback to the product team about the tag. It looks a bit ugly. Would like to buy but can you change the tag/label for like the next batch or something.

    Thanks
