Sorry bit noob at this, how I find product id/url on iOS app?
    Thanks

    • Paste the URL into your browser and it should produce a full link that you can paste in.

Didn't track for me in the last promotion, still waiting for confirmation after lodging a claim.

    • +3

      Same but they approved mine.
Was still good with the vouchers at the time but better getting $15 off the price.

Have to fight for it most times with CR, and they always act like we did something wrong.

      • Well, they'll certainly know if you click-through their adblock warning, as it now pings them when you do, lol.

As for the AliExpress end of things, you can spot the cashrewards affiliate key in your cookies if you reaaaaaaallly want to be sure.

        • +1

Checked the affiliate link last time and all good.
There are many reasons it may not work (stuff in your cart already all the don'ts etc..)..

Wasn't using an add blocker, make a point of doing it with my phone.

Assume was just an AliExpress thing as delivery time is long as is the return period but it still should have tracked properly but half the time doesn't with different merchants. It's in Click history and have the order details so usual gets approved, Just a lot of work.

        • This was probably why (copied from below):

Yes AliExpress will automatically confirm it after a very long time or even sometimes the buyer will confirm it if the tracking says it's delivered. For cashback you'll want it to confirm within 90 days.

  • I was looking to get a new remote for my Nvidia Shield. Has anyone purchased one from Aliexpress, and if so what is recommended?

Nice one - still undecided if I want that Cronos GMT…

Wouldn’t waste time with CR, never got any tracked or approved. I think they increase rewards to grab headline but deliberately make it ambiguous and difficult to approve.

    • -1

      Never had an issue here.

      • Quite the opposite for me. That site is not quite scamy but definitely misleading, often show cheap price than increase with other add on costs. Also seller coupons rarely work, basically there are lots of conditions to qualify.

CR is fine, but this particular site is not.

        • -1

AliExpress sellers are no different to eBay sellers. They have cheaper items that are out of stock or ship to other countries to make the prices seem cheaper in your searches.

Seller coupons always work for me. Each listing will have one with the minimum spend. There's another type that applies to selected items and it will show you what they apply on.

          • @Clear: I know it’s just another market place with all walks of sellers, but eBay and Amazon are much more transparent.

The whole experience is quite shady…they send you emails about discounts to draw you to the site, then you go to the site to see what’s worth buying and found a branch of cheap stuff, only when you checkout the price and shipping become higher, also coupons don’t work.

  • +3

capped at $15… ummm, which items less than $75 can maximise this 20% cashback

  • Any discount codes work with Cashrewards for Aliexpress?

    • There's no new AliExpress sitewide coupons at the moment. Seller coupons will work as usual.

  • +3

All these cash back sites are garbage. It's basically gambling because you never know if it will track or not. Don't count on it

    • -4

I wish there was another "gambling" activity where I was successful 100% of the time….

      • crypto?

        • Definitely not 100%!

      • Life is a gamble pal

    • Lodge a claim lol

  • +1

I have had 2 purchases not tracked during past 2 cashrewards 20% deal over the past few months. It is a bit annoying but once i submitted the claim, they usually do approve it at least my first one has been approved. 2nd one is pending atm.

  • +1

im usually a big fan of cr & sb but i would say dont bother with trying to get cashback off an aliexpress purchase what a waste of time

    • +2

There's really only two important steps. Make sure the product you're buying is affiliated (how to check is in the OP) and once you've received your order mark it as received on AliExpress. The last step is important as that releases the money to the seller and if you don't do that then the affiliate income to Cashrewards will be rejected and thus…. no cashback.

      • Doesn't it automatically confirm after a while after you receive it? Otherwise sellers never get money?

        • +1

Yes AliExpress will automatically confirm it after a very long time or even sometimes the buyer will confirm it if the tracking says it's delivered. For cashback you'll want it to confirm within 90 days.

          • @Clear: Ah I see, I can't even get it to track to begin with. Never issues anywhere else.

            • @JL1: Have you checked if they're affiliated?

              https://portals.aliexpress.com/linkchecker.htm

              • @Clear: Yep I have, each time and they are.

I didn't know about your confirm receipt thing which I assume is what you meant after receiving it? As my previous order got marked that automatically themselves quickly!

  • Can this be stacked for multiple, smaller purchases until you get to the $15 cap?

    • +1

      Yeah that's no issue.

  • F*** I just ordered something for $70 last night, has anyone had any experience with AliExpress Free Returns? I haven't noticed this service before but it's offered for the thing I ordered.

    • I did the same - $60. But I'm sure I'll find something else for this

      • Wouldn't you try cancelling first, they usually take a few days to ship it..

So does PayPal do free overseas returns?

    • +3

If you ordered via Paypal then you can get free returns (I've done it multiple times with no issues). Haven't tried the Aliexpress free returns though so can't comment on that.

Also if they haven't shipped it yet then you can request a cancellation.

    • Has the item already shipped? If it's still processing, try contacting the seller for a refund. It's worked for me before.

  • Damn I just bought a car part last night….

    • +1

You can ask the seller to cancel.

  • Can I get cashback from two items or is it best to order them separately?

  • I have used an iPhone with Cashrewards and it tracks ALL the time. Rememeber to not go in the App by mistake, the click through is browser based and need to log in Aliexpress that way. Also don't faff around, find the product add to cart and buy.

  • any good store to buy prescription glasses? Just lost mine few days ago :(

  • Been over 30 mins since placing my order and still hasn't tracked - did I done goofed this one?

  • +1

My second order placed at 7.10 tracked about 15 mins later. Nothing so far on my first order placed at 7.05!

  • Can someone pls confirm if this is original Lii500? Seems like really good price. Hopefully paying with paypal will ensure I'm covered if the seller is dodgy.

    • Shop1100352257 Store
      0.0% Positive feedback

I'd avoid completely. <95% feedback is quite hard to get so a new store without a name and 0% feedback is going to be a scam.

      • Thanks for responding, ye my only worry was the 0.0% and seller being relatively new. I'll check out your suggestions.

    • store has been open since Mar 28, 2022. 0% feedback. Shipment by Dpex, wow. Get ready to be sent someone else tracking no. When you check on the item ordered , the store has delisted all their items. You can contact AE via chat saying tracking no. is fake. I got a refund within 48 hours.

    • Yeh, came across that store the other day. All the chargers were half the price of everyone else and with faster shipping. Then I saw the seller feedback and creation date and it all made sense.

  • Oops, meant to order something last night during the promo. Should have set a reminder…

  • 2/3 orders tracked and hit the $15 limit. Cool, thanks Clear :)

  • Are people still using AliExpress, or have they gone somewhere else? Back to eBay? Amazon?

I ordered 5 items last night, and so far 2 of them have messaged me saying they just need $1-$2US more to pay for shipping. Factor in the fact that of the remaining 3 items, 1-2 just won't turn up, and this is becoming untenable.

    • +1

What's the feedback on those stores?

      • 88 and 90%. What's a good cutoff I should look for?

I reordered one of those items from another store (93.7% positive rating), and they asked for $0.49US to cover their costs, but said they'd send it anyway and put on a sob story about no profit.

    Didn't track…

    • Same…just lodged a claim
