About: Once described by Michael Jackson (of beer fame) as ‘’the most refreshing beer in the world’’, Rodenbach is the world’s original and most popular Flemish red/brown ale. The ‘Classic’ is a sessionable blend of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer aged in giant wooden foeders for two years. The result has a complex fruitiness and a perfect harmony of sweet vs sour.

      Haha 2 cases / 24 litres is a lot of beer! We're confident you've got plenty of time to enjoy these beers - this specific style has already partially sat around in barrels for years and is incredibly stable in the can. While certainly important for some other styles, the best before date on this beer is more a legal requirement than a drinking guide.

      Yes, all shipping prices are per case as they are waaaay to heavy to combine. The two cases for $80 (so, $40 each) will incur two shipping charges. We just wanted to offer a bonus discount for anyone who bought two or more.

    Grabbed a case. I think this beer was in my Schmooze subscription a month or two ago. Problem is I cant remember if I liked it or not. Oh well I guess I'll have plenty or opportunity to form an opinion soon!

    This is my hometown's beer! Every summer, they donate a 10000 litre keg to the start of the summer sale festival for free. Fond memories of those times.

      Bottleshop opens at 12noon - but for C&C, we'd recommend not heading in until you get a conformation email that your order is ready. Often have to transfer stock etc, but usually available within 24 hours.

    LOL, I cannot wait the see the comments from people who have never tasted a Flanders Red, let alone a sour beer, once they get this beer delivered. I'm stoked and ordered a case - love Rodenbach and love Carwyn - but this is truly one for the real beer nerds!

    Got a case and enjoying it, classic sour taste

    not like some a recent sour ales that adds a bunch of weird fruit flavours in the mix
