WSB has a lot of 4chan DNA in it, and this is part of it. 4chan is obsessed with imagining those they don't like as cuckolds, men whose wives use them for money and sleep around. As a result, they like to imagine the ultimate pathetic loser as being someone that knows his wife is unfaithful and accepts it.
WSB imagines themselves as the ultimate losers without lives and wear that as a badge of honor. As such, they pretend to be this mythical willing cuckold to further the gag.
In the past several years a lot of hyper-masculine/redpill/pick-up-artist adjacent internet cultures have been using the term "cuckold" as an insult. A cuckold is a man whose wife sleeps with another man. Insulting people as "cucks", or, slightly more subtly, alluding to another man's wife having a boyfriend on the side in order to call them insufficiently masculine is standard practice. Some other people have been leaning into that to cut off this insult tactic or to make fun of it.
The financial industry and stock trading have for a long time been seen as a masculine pursuit where only the strong and ruthless survive. Similar gender-specific unsults and culture is present there. See for example movies like Wolf of Wall Street which is based on the book of a real life financial fraudster who was in this culture and lampoons it to a degree. It's not surprising that WSB, which is both about the financial industry and on the internet leans into the trope.
