  • hows this compare to gpx?

    • +1

This is more comparable to the GPW due to the similarity in weight, not the extra lightweight GPX-for which Razer is coming up with a new Viper V3 for.

I like Razer mouse better, simply because they use optical switches unlike Logitech which is known for higher than average double clicking problems.

However I do see quite a few people disliked the rubber side grip, and you have to use a charging dock instead of Logitech’s charging pad which is far more convenient-but is also much more expensive.

      • That double-click problem makes me so mad grrr!

    • I've been using the GPW for work for a long time and have Glorious Model O at home, and just got this during the last deal ($111 @ Amazon). Very similar to GPW, except for the grip on the sides. Mouse clicks feel heavier on the Viper. I love the charging dock, though getting the Viper to sit on the charging dock can get annoying at times. I was looking at second hand GPX prior to buying the Viper but hard to justify the price when the Viper is ~$110 new. I'm not disappointed with my purchase.

  • Viper , Naga pro, Basilisk Ultimate… which one is the best?

Depends on your grip style, hand size, weight preference, etc. I've found Viper excellent personally for claw grip, and it's one of the lighter wireless mice. Basilisk and Naga seem more intended for palm grip, particularly the latter. Naga is heavier, but the extras buttons are great for MMO players. Definitely recommend doing some research when looking at this price point, as everyone has their own preferences.

A very rough rule of thumb:

Viper if you are a FPS Player

Naga Pro if you are a MMO player

Basilisk Ultimate…If you like the G502 shape for some reason but dont like the G502

      • Great guide haha

  • $84 for the Seiren X mic as well.

  • Up voting for best gaming fps mouse money can buy

    • what about basilisk v3?

      • I personally prefer wireless, but if basilisk shape fits you better it will be better choice.

Most important part of gaming mice is the shape. You can't perform well if the mouse is uncomfortable to hold

  • The other two colours are the cheapest ever but priced slightly higher. $132 delivered drom razer store ebay.
When they had the $10 off I managed to pick it up for $123.67

  • Thanks OP! Got one.

  • I got this at the recent $111 amazon sale.

Im not a huge fan. Its a rather small mouse. It appears i like to have much bigger things in my hand.

    Quality and features are fine.
