  • Admiral…it that you?

Sweet deal for those in NSW with GG gift cards…$93!

  • Are these good?

What does this machine not do that a $400 machine does?

    • The main difference between this machine, and machines such as the Citiz etc, is that it's fully manual. For example, you press the button to start the coffee flowing, and you have to press it again to stop it. There are no programmable functions, or pre-programmed volume functions.

From my experience of owning both machines, Essenza manual a good little machine and worth every cent.
It can do pretty much everything lattissima plus does but they all have to be done MANUALLY.
Like the rep said, from measuring the coffee shot to frothing your milk/soy.
Aerocinno can overheat and need time to cool down for your next coffee.
The process may need some practice to get it right for some people.
But I personally enjoy doing it :)

The lattissima plus measures and "steams" the milk/soy and pour straight to the cup.
It also comes with programable buttons to control if you like to alter coffee and milk/soy ratio.
      Can't get any easier.

      Hope this helps.

Ps. This is a good deal. The postage kinda kills it since I'm in WA.

    Wow amazing price!

The $400 machine will probably be the Lattissima which pours the milk in the cup for you! If you're lazy then feel free to spend the extra money.

    • No taste difference?

      • All the Nespresso machines use the same capsules so no, there wouldn't be a taste difference between machines.

      That's a bit harsh.

You also get the self-cleaning tubes so you don't have to wash out the aerocinno afer every cup of latte/cap you make…

    • Id prefer adding the milk manually. I love practising my froth art.

      • frothing is so hard. i always make too many bubbles :((

  • omg, this is a great price. i paid almost $300 for mine.

wow awesome deal, big+ for this :)

so i just go to a post office tomorrow (already found 5 very close to work that are open tomorrow)

pick up the TGG gift cards (200 worth if i have 2 i guesS)

then head to TGG after work, tell them Peters of Kensington are doing it for 179 and they will match that and honour my 20% off ?

can someone please confirm if thats all i gotta do ? then ofcourse i will apply for cashback also :)

also is this the machine you need to buy the 50c pods for ? i think i was looking at one of these before and saw you can get pods that fit it very cheap at aldi ?

would be awesome if someone could confirm that also.

it will be a present for the mrs i got her a breville but she doesnt use it much as it takes too long and she showed an interest in the pods one it seems abit faster/easier than getting beans, grinding them etc. ill just sell the other one cheap it was like 500 new

    cheers!

    • Usually when you ask for a pricematch, theyll see if:
      - its a bricks and mortar store. ie. you can walk in and browse/buy
      - same model down to the color
      - in stock

    • biggest problem would be finding australia post with gg gift cards left

also you dont need to tell the good guys you are paying with gift card, esp the 20% ones

you could have got them 3 months ago as a present and not got the 20% off

    • the aldi pods won't fit. they're a different size, for their own machines.

  • Anyone know if we could order then pick up in store? Or if the Kensington store have stock to buy in-store?

    • call the store and ask!!! their warehouse is in Alexandria… so suppose if delivered it would still be dispatched there.

    • You're welcome to collect in-store, but you'd need to place your order over the phone rather than online. You can call (02) 9662 1433 to order if you're still interested.

  • and you need this
www.coffeemate.com.au and ask for a deal

    • what do you mean, what price do you get them for ?

      • check with store

        • 80c per pod is more expensive than regural nespresso

  • stupid question time - do these do normal "cappuccino's"

is there any mocha flavours? ( for the wife )

    • Yes, the Aeroccino froths the milk like a cappuccino
No, there are no mocha flavours at the moment but Nespresso do limited edition flavours so hopefully they'll do a Mocha one soon!

  • I went TGG today try to get the deal. They will not match this price :(

    • same here, no luck. Closest I got was $200

  • i ended up just buying the aldi one today for 79 bux, its really cool machine the pods are cheap and tastes nice :) i didnt bother buying the frother because i like the coffee with just a dash of milk but you can buy frother for 20 bux

After selling out early this morning, we have managed to secure a small number of additional units from our distributor. They'll be available until 11.59pm tonight, or until we sell out of the additional machines.
