This carpet cleaner apparently works as well or some cases better than the Britex ones you hire at Bunnings (this has 2 spinning brushes to help agitate it), not expensive to hire them, but the convenience of having one is well worth it - can pay itself off in less than 2 years (using it once every 2 months).Comes with hose and attachment to help clean car seats and couches.

The BISSELL® ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet handles tough pet messes thanks to the exclusive Pet clean-up system. The system includes CleanShot® pre-treater to remove spots and stains; the 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool to remove pet hair, stains, and odors from upholstery; and an EZ Clean Brush Roll Cover to make maintenance of the machine easy. Plus Deep Clean Mode offers powerful cleaning to outclean leading rentals,* and carpets dry in about an hour with Express Clean Mode.** All of this cleaning power comes in a lightweight and maneuverable machine with a low-profile foot that gets under furniture. With the BISSELL® ProHeat 2X® Revolution Pet, you have everything you need to take on tough pet messes.

    • $482 amazon as well

Amazon is a UK import. Factor in a travel adaptor you're not saving anything. Not sure about the warranty.

    • +1

      Doesn't include taxes or delivery.

Add them and the fact that it's a UK import that might not have warranty, the Bing Lee is better value.

      • didn't see that

        • All good. I did a fair bit of research, I believe this is the cheapest readily available currently.

Black Friday's and prime days it can go closer to $400, however if you can't wait that long this is a decent price imo.

  • How does this compare to miele c3 animal

This is a carpet washer not a vacuum cleaner. You vacuum the carpet first and then use this for deep cleaning. From my personal experience, this is an excellent product.

  • Whilst this machine would be great for cleaning large areas of carpet. You can't go past the smaller Bissell unit that pops up on ozb often for occasional pets stains such as puke and urine. It's saved me from stress on multiple occasions and does an amazing job for this purpose https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/692185
The family refers to it as the puke machine.

Doesn’t this one have a smaller handle for spot cleans?
Seems to be a pic of cleaning up a stain on a couch

      • It does!

      • -2

Are you referring to the second picture of this machine on eBay? If so, I think it’s animal hair and it’s just vacuuming it up?

        • +1

Not sure what your saying there. But this vaccum cleaner is a 2 in 1. Does floors and has an extra hose that plugs in to work as a spot cleaner for couches. Watch some YouTube reviews and you will find it also sprays water on the spot cleaning attachment.

Sorry to sound grouchy, but people really need to do some basic 1min Google/ YouTube before spreading misinformation.

          • @[Deactivated]: The poster above mentioned there’s a pic of a smaller handle cleaning up a stain on the couch. I assume they was referring to the second picture in the eBay link of this deal - which looks like it’s vacuuming. Either way it does both - vacuuming and spot cleaning.

Its cool to get grumpy, just make sure you understand the context prior to getting there. Actually, do or do not, I don’t care :), good bargain though

This includes a spot cleaner hose attachment and all of the attachments found in the spot cleaner models and more. Much better value than the spot cleaner.

    • I have both this and the spot cleaner (which was bought a few years earlier).
This stand up version is more powerful for the small spills attachment than the smaller unit. It also does a really really good job on washing the carpets when doing large areas. It does a much better job than professional cleaners as this thing also brushes/scrubs the carpet. However, because it scrubs the carpet you may get bad results with long pile carpets.
The Bissel carpet shampoo liquid works well, but so does the stuff that Bunnings sell which is half the price and gets the same coverage. I ignored the part that said, warranty void if you use anyone else's shampoo - to me that seemed like some sort of lock in con.

    Excellent machine

  • Recently bought one to clean up dog urine and wash carpet.
Awesome machine - just make sure to read the manual and do as instructed.
Relatively easy to clean and maintain.

  • I have the older version and agree it's great value. My one and only issue is that the main brush still spins when the hand tool is in use

  • I have this - on deep clean mode it chews through cleaning solution. The other downside is it doesn't take up most of the water, so carpets can take a while to dry fully.

The quick clean mode is great as you can do several rooms on one tank and floors dry quicker. The stair/upholstery tool is fantastic for smaller surface area stuff like fabric furniture etc.

If you have sensitive hearing you might want to wear earphones or earmuffs as this thing is LOUD.
