  • Is one of these better than two 23" monitors? Or does it depend what you're using your computer for?

    • +1

      I went from 2x 24" to 1x 32" QHD and hated my (productivity) life after that. I am addicted to multiple screens. The only thing that took the edge off was moving to a 34" wide, but even then I put a 24" on top of it.

      Anyway now I am married and who's got time to sit in front of a computer anymore…

  • Should be eligible for $50 gift card redemption too I think? I ordered the flat screen Q27T1 the other day

    • +1

      I could only see the 32inch models on there, don't think this one is eligible

      • +1

        Ah right my bad, glanced at the Q27G2S which is different

  • Don't think so - CQ27G2 doesn't appear in the list.

    $25 Flexi eGift card or Menulog voucher: 24E2QA, 24P2Q, 24G2U/BK, G2490VX/BK, 27B2H, 27G2, 27G2U/BK, Q27G2S, C32G2ZE, C32G2E
    $50 Flexi eGift card or Menulog voucher: Q27T1, Q27G2S/D, U28P2U/BS, CQ32G2E, AG323FCXE, U34P2C, CU34G2X

  • Decent deal, but Dell remains better if it's still hovering near this price on sales.

    • which Dell monitor?

      • S2722DGM, when on sale on Dell's eBay store with a 20% code.

    when did 1440p become 2k ?
    Could you also say that 1080p is 2k? as 1920 is fairly close to 2k

    1080p X 1920 2k ???
    1440p X 2560 2k ???
    2160 X 3840 4k

      According to BenQ:
      What is 2K QHD?
      2K displays are those whose width falls in the 2,000-pixel range. More often than not, you’ll find 2K monitors with a display resolution of 2560x1440, that’s why it’s often shortened to 1440p. However, this resolution is officially considered Quad HD (QHD). As such, many monitors claim their resolution as 2K QHD.

      https://www.benq.com/en-ap/knowledge-center/knowledge/what-is-resolution-of-monitor-full-hd-vs-2k-vs-4k.html#:~:text=2K%20displays%20are%20those%20whose,considered%20Quad%20HD%20(QHD).

    • It's frustrating, I know, but so long as they mention QHD in the title it'll do.

    • this is the info you want:

      FHD = 1080 x 1920 = 1080p
      QHD = 1440 x 2560 = 2K
      UHD = 2160 x 3840 = 4K

  • Is this good for using with a ps5/PS4?

    • Either go a 1080p/FHD or 4K monitor if you're using it for them, 1440p/QHD is a waste since you'll be forced to use 1080p anyway

    • no because ps doesn't support 1440p whereas xbox does

  • looking for a second 27” monitor which I can use vertically for a bit of light programming
    don't want an additional monitor mount/stand due to my current desk is not flat at the back.
    can this one be used vertically without an additional mount/arm? Or wait for the dell monitors? Both monitors are around the ~299 price mark when on sale.
