Damn I got excited and thought existing customers could get it. Could you please update the title to say new customers?

  • you have my upvote mate! Even I don't qualify it.

    • Thank you, I really don't get it, I am even being reported for this?

      Whatever

Don’t worry about it. Lots of keyboard warriors on OzBargain but most are nice and will let you know what you did wrong. Everyone makes mistakes.

There are people who just don't like crypto and downvote anything related to it. Ozb thing so chill…

Referral description is wrong, cannot edit, cannot add screenshots, bah.

    • Don’t think you can update that as it’s the standard referral bonus. This is a temporary deal so as long as the title and body is correct it should be fine.

        I see, thank you

  • Cost of buying the required crypto: about $4

    2% fee.

On $1k is like $10. And people on OzB are trying to figure out how to save $2 a trade moving from one share broker to another here.

      • Also it was in response to OP comment which means percentages still hold true.

You are always coming in at a tangent.

    • why deposit $1k when you only need $199?

        It's to make a point.

        It didn't work.

        • Your points hardly ever work. So still way ahead of you.

            • @rektrading: Responding to op comment so what I said is true.

What you are saying is also true of you want to be a maker but would you.

What is it too you? Seem like you enjoy going off at a tangent.

              • @netjock: Don't take it seriously. It's just a bit of Easter fun.

Eat some chocolate and enjoy the Easter holidays.

Luno customer service is very poor. They refused to credit the reward after I already put $250 in, without realising it was using the Exchange feature rather than the Instant. Why would a new user know there are two modes, one hidden behind a small button at the top? Their implementation of their own policy is also very inconsistent. They refused to credit the reward because they cite their policy stating we must use Instant only. And they say they will credit the reward if I spent a further $200, despite the policy stating the reward will only be credited for first time transactions. I'm not going to risk another $4 transaction fee for them to reneg again. I don't think anyone should trust them with our money.

    • Thank you for this update. These are the kind of things I like to avoid. Not only have to trust them with our money, but also our personal details (KYC stuff). Will definitely be skipping this deal, cheers for the heads-up.

  • Someone used my referral code and I received an email from Luno saying they have sent me AUD$39.99, and it's free to collect with Luno. Then there is a button that shows 'Collect Now'.

Anyone else get this? When I try click the 'Collect Now' it just makes me login to Luno website and doesn't allow me to collect anything. Has the referral bonus already been added to my account or do I actually need to do anything further to collect it?
