Hey guys. So happy to get this over the line with the folks at Lenovo. 20% off sitewide with code TA-20-OFF, includes laptops, monitors, accessories, software, drones, etc. Deal runs for 24 hours only, and ends 10:59am AEST tomorrow (Saturday). Excludes all Motorola products.

Use Cashrewards for a flat 10% cashback uncapped on your purchase via this link.

Important - codes are not stackable - only one code can be applied in cart. There may be instances where other onsite codes such as CLEARANCE, THINKEDGE etc may get a better discount on a certain product. Unfortunately my code won't stack with them, so obviously use the code that best works for you. The non-stacking is out of my hands (sorry).

Lenovo TA codes are exclusive to Cashrewards (any issues, lodge a claim after 7 days via your click history and we'll take care of it). For tracking success however, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc) and VPNs, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Or better still, use the Cashrewards mobile app.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy Easter. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

  • So.. no updates on expo tracking. No notification from DHL but laptops arrived today. Lucky WFH.

Lenovo order page did update that it was delivered but no update that DHL had it.

Anyway exciting stuff. Got some new toys to setup.

  • Got my Legion 5 5600H/RTX 3060 for $1529.32(1.3k with cashback.). Bought on the 15th April, Shipped on the 26th of April and got it on 16th of May. I'm pretty happy with it as I added in 32GB of RAM and a 2TB NVME SSD after I got it. It was a custom order as I removed the RGB and got the basic white LED keyboard.

    • was there a reason for keyboard swap? You can turn off the RGB if you don't like it or just have a consistent colour like blue (which is what I've got)

      • It was cheaper to have a white backlit keyboard than an RGB one by like $50 if I recall when ordering the laptop.

        • I would have done that too but was not aware…the Lenovo RGB can't do white!
Also received it and am happy with the device and price..

  • Finally got my legion 7i 3080 delivered today for $3.3k or 2.9k after cashback. This laptop is a beast however I might return it as the new 2022 versions have been announced for July.

20% FPS performance increases with the New HX intel processors and 3080ti coupled with a 2k 240hz screen are substantial upgrades. New RGB software which has cured the ICUE battery drain issue and up to 150w PD charging.
However it will probably cost around $4k but will be more futureproof as you should never buy last generation Tech.

  • what do you guys all do re anti virus?
was it meant to come with 1 year antivirus included?

it's asking me now to extend the AV protection?

    thoughts?

    • I just use Windows Defender. It works well enough in the background that it is not intrusively.

As long as you are not going to dodgy websites, or installing unknown software, you will be fine 99% of the time.
