  Genuinely curious what you think OP. Does phenylephrine actually work? My experience says it doesn't.

  Are thousands of boxes sold simply because people want something when they are sick and used to be able to get something that worked and aren't clear on the new formulation? Or do you think phenylephrine is actually worthwhile?

    Personally, I think thousands of boxes are sold because it’s better than nothing, also it contains paracetamol which may assist with reducing fever etc. Overall not a comparison to pseudo based cold and flu, but without attending a pharmacy handing over your Id waiting around etc, online this is as good as it gets.

  I bought the pack last time and it came with the generic codoral, and found that it wasn’t as good as the normal one. The night tablets in the codoral branded one, normally knocks me out but the one in the generic, didn’t do much

    Please ensure your comparing apples with apples, if the active ingredients are the same - it’s the same. If you are comparing to a stronger dosage or different active ingredients then this may be why you experienced differing results.

        Na I never do that. Always compare ingredients and dosages, otherwise it's not an accurate representation

  May be top secret, but what's the most popular of the antihistamines you listed? Just curious if you think online versus in person would shift that?
