EDIT: MORE STOCK ADDED 22/9

Hi Ozbargainers,

After MANY MANY emails from Ozbargainers asking for this deal, I've finally been able to land a Nasonex generic alternate (Mometasone Furoate) spray!

This product is in huge demand at this time of the year with many wholesalers out of stock - After a long wait I've got 2 cartons for Ozbargainers today.

Sensease provides non-drowsy, once-daily relief and prevention of hayfever symptoms, including: blocked nose; sneezing; runny nose; itchy nose.

ITEM: 3 x SENSEASE 140 SPRAY (50 micrograms/spray)
CODE: nasal
PRICE: $39.99 after code (Equivalent to $13.33 each delivered when 3 purchased)

FREE Express SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN OZ VIA SATCHEL PACK WITH TRACKING

For all the hard core Fexofenadine loyalists out there who turn their nose up at Mometasone Furoate (and I know there are many of you), I've restocked most of my previous Fexo / Hayfever deals to allow Ozbargainers to once again fill their bottom drawers with an abundance of quality, well priced, generic medication ;-)

I will ship all orders out within 1 working day (ie Friday orders will ship either Monday or earlier) but Aussie Post is really dragging the chain at the moment, while typical delivery is 6-7 workings days I am aware that
some parts of the country are currently experiencing significant mail delays. All orders from previous deals have shipped to clients. Every order of Sensease will have tracking provided on dispatch. As always please read the full item description and warnings contained on the packet and contact our registered pharmacist on (08) 8284 3266 if you have any questions prior to, during or after use of any product listed above. I have received communications from several "Ozb well wishers" informing me that I should specifically mention in these posts that medications when sold as a combo should not be taken simultaneously unless directed by a doctor or pharmacist to do so. The sale of items grouped together does not imply they should be taken together.

Or azonaire for cheaper without having to buy 3?
    (albeit not delivered)

$20.94 including delivery for one and you can only add one to your cart.

    • +4

Plus delivery of $8.95 so total for one with Chemist Warehouse is $20.94, clearly not cheaper with delivery considered. If any Ozbargainers wish to collect this item from our store in Northern Adelaide please PM me and I’ll happily subtract freight costs for collections.

    • There are a lot of cheap generics that have entered the market lately and you can buy at your local chemist. The one I just bought is called MetaSpray, it's also 140 sprays and same as Nasonex. It was $10 and came with a saline spray as well in same box

      • Great - would you be able to send PM me the product name or a link to where you bought it, I'd love to be able to offer comparable products to Ozbargainers at a better price with additional inclusions. If your local was retailing at $10 I am 100% sure I can do better - I searched as best I could and Sensease was the best value I could find.

        • hi this is where i got the $10 generic nasonex from
          https://www.goodpricepharmacy.com.au/azonaire-hayfever-relie…

They advertise that azonaire brand but when you ask for it, they give you a 2pack containing Metaspray (nasonex generic) and a Saline Nasal spray of same size. The manufacturer is Cipla Australia. Also it's now obvious to me these generics are only just entering the market in large supply and don't seem to be readily available so your deal is still good for a 3 pack

          • @bobvegas: So you didn't really pay $10 with a free saline spray ? Seriously, if you let me know the product or deal you obtained, I am sure we can beat it. There are only a few wholesalers and all pharmacys buy from the same distributors. We can sell that product you've linked to for $10 any day of the week if clients collect.

Ok clearly off to a rough start tonight (and rough starts usually mean deals that tank leaving me with thousands of dollars worth of stock) - Free upgrade to Express post on any Sensease orders via Ozbargain.

    • hi there, just ordered via code on website, but i saw its normal shipping? can you upgrade me to express?

      • +1

Yes all orders of Sensease will ship express (Sorry lying in bed half asleep trying to edit this post via iPad).

        • , good service! good on u

  • Hi OP,

Not sure which product would be best for someone like myself that doesn't want to negatively affect their recovery from gym sessions?

Thanks and great post by the way!

    • This is going to sound like voodoo, but magnesium. I take a magnesium after gym workouts, and I don’t normally get DSOM (if that’s what you’re referring to?)

      • magnesium sure helps me with cramping as I have found out especially if you sweat alot.

      • I didn't explain myself properly as I was specifically referring to hay fever medication..

        Thanks for the idea though!

    Any deals on desloratadine?

    • I might PM you. I don't think there is enough demand for an Ozb deal - but let me see what the prices come in at.

Thanks Jason, Great deal as always.

How do these compare to tablet antihistamines?

    • +3
      • Absolutely agree with the article — and just not because I know Prof Katelaris personally.

    • +1

There's really no comparison for nasal symptoms — Nasonex (or the generic equiv) is hands down more effective. Bear in mind that it's a steroid, and probably not ideal for long term use (or at least is less ideal than a non-steroid based treatment that works - if indeed there is such a treatment for any given individual case).

Personally speaking, Nasonex has probably been the single best piece of advice my GP has ever given me. I have just now purchased the 3 pack from OP's deal.

      • Doesn't long term corticosteroid use cause immunosuppression?

        • I'm not sure there's much (any?) evidence of that with a mometasone furoate nasal spray.

    • just saw/heard an ad for Nasonex marketing to use it in conjunction with the pills ;lol,

    • If you have a sinus due to allergies, a normal zyrtec/telfast won't help that

U could however get an antihistamine with pseudoephedrine (eg zyrtec-d or claratyne-d etc). The pseudoephedrine helps with the sinus and it works well for me. It's harder to get tho as u need to show ID and much more expensive (>$1 per tablet)

damn missed out on this but such a good price, please do it again sometime if you can - happy to support a small business rather than going to CW all the time!

  • Far out… was not expecting that.
    Missed it.

    • +1

Yep - sorry guys sold out. Add your name to this message if you would like me to give you a heads up of the next offer, I'll try and get more stock but it may take a week or two given the massive demand for this product type at the moment.

  • Wow. Missed out. Pls add me for the next offer.

Hang on, did they change the formula to be non-prescription?

    • Yes, its S2 over the counter now.
