Discount of Macpac jackets stacks with the $20 signup coupon at BCF. A $100 minimum spend is required so need to add another item, the cheapest item I found which is available freely for C&C are these cable ties which is $0.50, brings the total to $80.49.

BCF have only recently just stocked these in-store for C&C, so good to use with the discount.

Otherwise can choose any item to bring the total over $100, there's a few cheap items here, but need to make sure they're available for C&C at your local.

The coupon is for new BCF club members, simply signup using a new email apply the coupon at checkout to get the discount :)

Available in the Following:

Hooded Down Jackets are also on sale for $149.99 ($129.99 after coupon):

Make sure to stack with discounted gift cards to save even more.

Note: The discount works in-store also, just need to show the store clerk the signup email from BCF Club to get $20 off $100 spend.

As always, enjoy :)

I cant see any XS size available ?

    • They know only ozbargainers buy these, so they don't bother

Anyone else find these jackets aren't as lofty as they used to be? I bought one three years ago and again recently (as a gift for someone, in exactly the same size and model) and the new one definitely isn't as puffy as mine was.

You might be right. Even just looking at the product photos between this post and one from a year ago there looks like a fair difference

      shrinkflation

Perhaps the down was still compressed and hadn’t expanded yet? They are rated jackets so the down should be consistent.

      • I compared them after giving the jacket time to decompress, so I don't think it's due to that

    • +1

I threw mine in the dryer with a couple of tennis balls, it became really fluffy.

    • Weigh them to compare?

    • Is it possible that your jacket was the standard Halo Down jacket featured in OPs post, whereas your friend received the Uber Light version?

      • Nope - exactly the same model and size - Halo (non-hooded) XS

        • I have been using my friends jacket who purchased an year ago and I got one today. I can see the difference, it’s wrinkly. May be I need to use it for couple of months to get it all nice and fluffy.

  • Thanks OP, I have been waiting for a good deal on this jacket. I have one and think it's good quality and hardy for the price. The only thing is the red looking one is listed as russet brown. I hope it is like the picture, will update if not.

    • I think the more accurate colour description would be "brick" going off the photo

  • Awesome thanks OP!

  • Hows the sizing with these usually? True to size? Under, over? Just I'm 6'7 so always iffy buying regular sizes

    • +1

I am 6ft 4, ~80KG and I wear a medium. the sleeves are long enough for me. still a bit more room on the torso if I were to gain a few more KGs over the coming winter.

      • I'm 6'2" and 88 kg. It want to cry :'(

        • why?

            @b2dz: I think he's calling himself fat

          Have a + from me :)

    • +1

I'm also 6'7" and eyeing off one of these. I'll probably swing by a shop on the weekend to test out the size, I can let you know details after if you want.

Post fitting: Like the the others said, go down a size, and arm length is great. At 6'7" and 110kg I've gone with XL, but L wasn't far off a nice fit.
The torso length is a bit short, might just cover my belt.

      • cheers… unfortunately gone with an L a few days ago online… similar weight and height… will i live to regret this? ….find out on the next episode of dragonball z

These run a size bigger so if you are usually an XL, buy a L

  • want a hooded one, but $50 more is alot

    • I thought the same but nothing is cheaper at the moment. Atleast I got this hooded for 130$.

  • +1

Bought it from the same deal last year. Really like the jacket. Buy one size smaller than what you normally wear.

  • Coupon can't be applied. I've added another item to make it over 100

Are you using a newly created account? I just tried and it worked fine on a fresh one.

    • I had the same issue. The solution is to join and create an account before going to check out. They will send you an activation email and the code will then be usable after you activated your account.

  • Any thoughts on weather this would be suitable for Perth winter?

    • Depends on the weather.

    Definitely looks like its deflated

  • ThanksOP

  • Thanks, OP got a hooded one!

  • Thank you. My first puffy jacket.
Had to go a $1 pool toy at my local store.

And yes, went down a size to a medium rather than my normally large tops.

  • COUPON code not working

  • Thanks OP - bought one and picked it up yesterday

I was actually given the hooded halo when I C&C. I'm sure it was a mistake. I'll take it !
