    Classic colourway

  • Apart from price, what's the difference between this and Seiko Prospex SNE551P?

    • SNE551P looks like a later version released on 2020

Nice looking watch, but I don't dig the cyclops.

Has anyone ever replaced the band on this for a NATO strap? Is it a simple process and are there any recommendations for one?

      super easy.
Google nato straps to find your style. They are all much of a muchness except for hardware. I prefer chunky buckles which vary from brand to brand. $10-$30 for a nato

I also recommend getting nato straps that are stitched rather than glued together!

Haven't done it on this watch specifically, but can tell you most watches it's super easy.

      Best suggestion is to get:
      1: Spring bar removal tool
      2: Quick change bars
3: Nato strap of your liking.

Many guides on Youtube to walk you through, it shouldn't take more than 10 mins for the first time.

There's two answers here about buying NATO straps, but the important bit of missing information is how to change the standard bracelet.

Fortunately on this watch there are drilled lugs (the holes you can see on the sides of the case).

This makes it trivial to poke something small into the holes, releasing the spring bars that hold the bracelet on. Remove the bracelet and reinstall the spring bars. Then thread your NATO through and you're done.

If your watch doesn't have drilled lugs, it's more of a PITA.

    • Thanks for all the helpful and detailed responses!
