Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 49" Curved DQHD Gaming Monitor $2,659.05 (RRP $2,999) Delivered @ Samsung Education Store

70

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (NEXXY - the latest version - not to be confused with SEXXY which other sites besides HN and Samsung are selling and is the older model with 10 dimming zones only - compared to 2000+ zones with this one) is on deal now. Lowest ever? lol - hopefully falls to $1800 levels or lower as the Odyssey Ark release comes closer.

$2,659.05 on Samsung's Education Store
$2,799 on Samsung's public (ie non-edu or EPP) website

No idea on EPP. Think the $50 newsletter can be applied too bringing it down to $2609.05 i guess, haven't tried.

Been eying on getting this apparently the latest firmware (1008+?) has resolved issues, but no longer peak at 2000 nits.

Thanks to TheDrooch - Cheaper at Harvey Norman at $2498: https://www.harveynorman.com.au/samsung-odyssey-neo-g9-49-in…

  • Until they resolve the issues with HDR, this is still an overpriced monitor

    • HDR issues have been resolved since September/October

Thats the lie you believe in. So you got scammed. Its only fixed when real scene peak brightness can hit atleast 1400nits in a 10% window and stay there. Not to forget the 101 other issues this has.

        • Yeah sure, it doesn't do the blinding 2000 nits for very long as it claims, but it's still the best all in one HDR screen on the market. This G9 Neo doesn't have inherrent issues anymore, just poor quality control. Definitely don't think I got scammed, especially as I only paid $1500 for it.

I recently picked up the AW3423DW and it's going back because it's not as good

  • Check out your local HN - in store and online for $2,498!! https://www.harveynorman.com.au/samsung-odyssey-neo-g9-49-in…
