  • Pretty much comparable to last years prices for the range

    • True, but not this soon after the release date. I'm pretty sure it took a bit longer for 2011 models to come down to these kind of prices and 60" D8000 didn't wasn't even available until October last year.

      • Agreed although we werent exactly heading to a recession then, as we are now

  • Why are your 2011 Pana Plasmas still so expensive?

    • +1

I actually don't have any left so I don't why they are still online. The 2012 range will be hear shortly at an awesome price.
      Thanks
      Tom

      • +4

And I hate myself for writing hear rather than here in my reply.

        Sorry,
        Tom

  • so CMR400 is actually 100hz. Samsung really needs a beating now!

    • its few hundred $$ cheaper then most of the online stores and it includes free shipping. its a decent deal. hardly see why you would Neg it. its not like the rep put "up to 40% off RRP" or something in the description or title.

  • whats the difference between the ES and EH models?
And how is the 2012 range different form the 2011 range other than looks? the specs look the same

    • +1

      Hi,
The EH is a back-lit LED and is as thick as an LCD because of it. The ES is slim and the s in E-S either stands from slim or sexy because they look awesome. What models are you looking at and I will run a comparison up for you.
      Thanks
      Tom

      • will have a look at the models when i get home. was looking for a 3D 55inch. Where are you guys located? and what are warranty processes?

Also i noticed that Samsung website doesnt list the models. when were these tv's released? i appears samsung is gettign slack. Also whats the True refresh rate on these TV. Cant stand samsung's stupid CMR rating.

        • Hi Again,

We are in Rutherford, NSW. Warranty info is here http://cheapbargains.com.au/catalog/information.php/about-i-… and click on warranty.

I am about to update the description of the goods with some better information including true refresh rates. As a guide they are all either 100Hz or 200Hz in that size and range, ie 55" 3D. The pick of the bunch in my mind is the ES7500. It is an unreal telly with great specs (and no chrome like the ES8000). In my mind it represents the best value, the trade-off of features vs price.

          Cheers
          Tom

        • Samsung Series 8 TVs have never been value for money, going all the way back to the "A" 8 series in 2008. Samsung have just been producing rubbish top of the line TVs for years. Don't get me wrong, I like Samsung LCDs/LEDs, and I have one, but definitely not their top of the lines.

For me, too much style over substance. Make your picture quality superb first, then worry about how thin you can make the damn thing; not the other way around. After all, personally I spend 99% of my time in front of the damn thing, not looking at it from the sides.

I find it amusing that the best TVs were back in 2008 when you had the Pioneer Kuros and the Samsung A950 - in my opinion, their best LCD/LED to date. An actual proper full dynamic backlit LED with more than the dozen or so lighting zones on today's "dynamic backlit" TVs offered by Samsung. Why didn't Samsung build on that PQ advantage?? Saying that, OLED will be interesting.

Sorry for the rant but I just couldn't help myself. It's been pissing me off for years that PQ has been going backwards for the sake of thinness, which is the son of all gimmicks (the mother of all gimmicks being Smart TVs).

  • Ordered!

Can't wait. I've been hanging out for a bargain on the new sammy's and this is it.

IS the 4 year extended warranty through Samsung?

    • Hi Adster01,

Awesome! They extended warranty is through TotalGuard, a company of Lumley Insurance and backed by Wesfarmers. Their Ts & Cs can be found here - http://cheapbargains.com.au/catalog/information.php/about-i-… and click on warranty.

      Thanks
      Tom

      • Thanks Tom. What's the likely turnaround to get it to NSW 2444?

        • Hi Again,

Should leave us tomorrow afternoon and get to you by Friday or early next week at the latest. We will give you all the tracking information so you can track it online via our online system.

          Thanks,
          Tom

      • Did the order get off today Tom?

    • +2

      You'd probably get something like a…. Galaxy S3 ??

    • Only if the phone remains plugged into AC at all times..

  • Good deal! TV's are cheap and just had a check from other stores for prices and this seemed to beat most of thtem by $100-200 bucks. Wish I was in the market for one though!

I am still holding on to my 46 inch LCD F series from 2008 which I think was the first sammy to bring on the 100hz.

  • Any bargains on the plasma?

    PS64E8000 64"

Gameonav have it at $2,999….can u beat that?

    http://www.gameonav.com.au/p/5942544/samsung-64-162cm---plas…

    • Hi,

Yes we can. Give us a call on 02 4931 9312 or email [email protected] with your delivery address and we will get the best price for you. On an interesting note, I have never seen a store charge $45 for credit card payments and $90 for Paypal. The local fish and chip shop only charges us 50c for using credit cards… interesting.

      Thanks
      Tom

  • Anyone know if the new series 6 UA32ES6200 has the same problem with 1080p in 3D? I know the previous Series 6 played in 720p. The ES is a new range and considerably more expensive even though it's still Series 6. Maybe they fixed the problem?

  • Any 3D glasses included with ES6200 series?

    • +1

      Hi Lostn,

      Yep, but only 1.

      Thanks
      Tom

      • Wonderful. They're Samsung branded right?

        • +1

We only sell genuine Australian articles with full warranties. Brand new in box and now seconds.

          Cheers,
          Tom

    • Hi Vinella,

Yep, no problem. Send us an email with your delivery postcode to [email protected] and we will work out a package deal for you.

      Thanks
      Tom

      • sent you email got no reply

        • Hi vinella,

Sorry, we are getting to your request but have sent it to our product manager for the best possible pricing. You will have it this afternoon. No reason to neg.

          Thanks
          Tom

        • sorry thought i missed out when your deal went expired

i have now received your email & accepted your offer

          cheers

  • I just ordered. Said no stock on product info page, but ordered anyway and paid. If you have no stock you'll send it when they come in right, and not cancel the order?

    • +1

      Hi Lostn,

Depends on the product, if it looks like an extended delay we will let you know. We very rarely will just up and cancel an order unless there is a product cancellation, an extremely extended delay or if for some silly reason that I haven't mentioned. We don't like holding onto our customers money when they have nothing, yet, to show for it.
If you email your order number to [email protected] I will check how far away the next shipment is.

      Thanks,
      Tom

  • Tlacey, are these your everyday prices on the Samsung or are these one off(Special) prices? if they are everyday price i may buy from u guys more often rather than going to the big shops.Strange i havent come across ur store before. noticed some vacuum prices are cheap too.

    • Hi dy4me,

These are one-off prices on the Samsung LED TVs but we always ensure we are the cheapest.
We have new products going online soon, new brands and categories which will be very keenly priced. So we are a bit of a 'watch this space' store at the moment while the new products are loaded. We will have a massive range and the greatest prices.
With Vacuum cleaners, you really can't go past Dyson. They are extraordinary. Feel free to contact us as well if there is something you need because even if it isn't on our site we should still be able to get it for you at the best price.

      Cheers
      Tom

      • Thanks for that. im really looking at the 55 but was hoping the prices would last for a little bit longer. need to save a bit more before i can buy. so some time within the next 2-5 weeks.

        • Hi Again,

Give us a call or send us an email when you are ready. We will definitely be able to do a great price for you.

          Thanks,
          Tom

        • well the model i was looking at is sold out now (UA55ES6200). Do u think u can match the price(1650) in a couple of weeks?

        • Should be able to. Let us know when your ready and I will speak to the product manager about it.

          Thanks
          Tom

  • -3

Nothing I can't get from haggling.

    • +2

True! But many people cannot haggle…it is a gift that few seldom possess :)

      • Agreed.

  • best value vs performance trade off for 32"? =] or a break down of differences between the 3 models would be great

    • Hi kzsv,

Are you looking at the EH or the ES series? The ES is the slimline product like the traditional LED screens and the EH is the thicker product similar to the old LCD screens?

      Thanks
      Tom

    • The UA32ES6200 is Series 6 and supports 3D. It's also the most expensive one, and costs about $120 more than last year's UA32D6000 even with this special. However, it is WIFI ready. Previously you'd have to buy a dongle for around $100. Also it fixes the Full HD 3D problem. Looks cooler too, though I prefer the chrome legs and bezel of the series 7 and 8.

The other two models are series 4 and 5.

      http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/tv-audio-video/television…

Samsung have unfortunately not updated their website for the 2012 refresh models, but you can compare the differences in features of each series 4, 5, 6. They'll be the same.

  • I'm interested in Panasonic (GT or VT range) or Samsung 2012 Plasma please…

    • Hi ben1680,

We have the 2012 Panasonic range online now but the pricing is not correct and the stock is not yet in our warehouse. When we get pricing and stock we will definitely be doing a deal on them.
On a side note, the GT range is now gone. The Panasonic range consists of the (from bottom to top) U, UT, ST and VT all -50 variants eg, TH-P55VT50A.

      Thanks,
      Tom

      • Thank you very much for your reply Tom.

GT is definitely still available overseas, but I think Panasonic Australia is not importing them for a reason I don't understand. Maybe they cannot price gouge Aussie consumer on that GT series, as much as they want to rip us off on the VT series? :P
The reason I say that, is the RRP of Aussie and US is differ by a whopping AU$2200 (for 65inch VT series)!!! After including US sales tax (approx 8%), it is still differ by a massive $1800.
You think when they have charge us so much, they are willing to import every available range like last year. Unfortunately not.

Also, even smaller VT series (50 inch) is not imported by Panasonic Australia. Go figure…

I just email them couple of minutes ago, we'll see what reason they come up with…

  • On a different note, with winter coming up will you be stocking gas heaters? I saw a few electric ones but I'm quite keen on gas. Something like the Rinnai Avenger 25 Plus.

    • Hi Zonder,

Yes, we will have the Rinnai range on our site, hopefully, by Friday this week. I have just checked our warehouse and I have some Avenger 25 Plus' in stock with natural gas so if you would like our best price for that send us an email - [email protected] - with your postcode and we will get you the very best deal for that heater.

      Thanks
      Tom

      • CHeers Tom. Have fired an email that way.
