Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

    (Kathmandu’s) marketing strategy - can’t claim a special if don’t occasionally have at higher price despite no one buying at that price.
    I own their products, quality is good and worth premium over cheaper imports; and, supporting last footwear tannery in Australia is worthwhile given that this country is shamelessly dependent on imports for consumables.

  outer soles are imported. It’s notable that the bar for “Australian Made” is so much lower than “Made in USA”. I guess if it was higher nothing almost nothing would qualify.

    Or is the U.S.A. just importing Asian workers to recuce the costs of their "Made in USA" products? 🤣

    Just kidding, but my dad used to work in a stationary warehouse that would import products with a Made in Australia logo sticker over the Made in China print.. 🙄

    The 3/4 I just ordered goes up to a Men's 14 (their sizing) which is a US13/UK12 I believe.

    Also, I read on a previous deals comments that if you needed a US14, I believe there's a non-tidal boot that comes in a 14.

  Got a set of the slippers, I couldn't imagine a boot feet get so hot in the slippers. Would be great if I lived further south though. Really happy to have got them. Tossed them in the washing machine (after trying all the gentler methods without much luck) and they've got a new life.

  I know that businesses try to reduce costs but shipped in a clear bag? Seriously? For anyone that's purchasing this as a gift note that these are not shipped in boxes. The clear plastic was torn in multiple places and didnt completely seal the boots.
